This built in microwave with grill from AEG has a 17 litre capacity and 800 watts worth of power, making it a smart addition to your kitchen. You can use both cooking functionalities at the same time for a perfect crispy finish to pizzas, pies and quiches. The automatic programmes offer a range of modes tailored to specific food so you’re guaranteed perfect results. The Quartz grill is really handy if you fancy grilling a snack but you don’t want to fire up the main oven.
Using this AEG microwave couldn’t be simpler. All the information you need is clearly displayed on the LED screen, so you can easily see the power setting and cooking time remaining. And this model features a clever ‘Active’ function which lets you adapt the settings, even during cooking, so you’re constantly in control – guaranteeing that food is always cooked to perfection.
AEG have made microwave cooking extra easy thanks to the automatic programming feature. Simply choose your food type from the options provided, input the weight, and the microwave oven will cook to perfection in the correct amount of time. You’ll never have to estimate the cooking duration again and you can be sure that your meal is thoroughly heated through every time.
Auto weight defrosting
Take the guesswork out of defrosting your food thanks to the auto-defrost function on this microwave oven. This handy feature will calculate the perfect thaw time for a range of different food types. Simply select the type of food you need to defrost from the menu, enter the item’s weight, and the microwave will do the rest! Defrost your food quickly and hygienically, without any worry that it will begin to cook or remain partially frozen.
This microwave is a good size for a busy household – it’ll make the perfect companion to the main kitchen oven. It allows you extra flexibility at mealtimes to cook or heat food quickly and easily. The turntable will comfortably hold a standard sized dinner plate, so you’ll also be able to reheat your dinner in no time on those nights when you’re late home from work.
Microwave and grill
With a handy grill feature, this microwave is a real multi-tasker. As well as functioning like a standard microwave, this model also has a grill setting so you can crisp up some bacon or make some cheese on toast without having to turn on the oven. You can even choose to use a combination of the microwave and grill functions to cook food through and then get a delicious golden brown finish on top.

Compact & Neat
Very compact, so fits well into an overhead cupboard rather than a full depth larder unit. Great for small kitchens. Well made in comparison with some alternatives. Looks good.

AEG Integrated Microwave
I found the instructions almost impossible to understand so I asked my husband to try and work it out and he couldn't either. Also I have noticed that the door seems to steam up so water vapour from food that I am heating must be getting into the gap between the glass door. Its quite "flimsy" too considering the huge cost. Not sure I would recommend it but its early days yet.
