Super fast freezing function helps cool food quickly
Efficient A+ energy rating
Designed to be built in a tall cabinet
With a generous 192 litre fridge space, this integrated fridge freezer from AEG is perfectly suited to a medium household. The fridge has 4 safety glass shelves and 3 full width door compartments and is equipped with auto defrost technology to take away the hassle of manually defrosting. The 75 litre freezer features a clever Frostmatic function that rapidly reduces the temperature to lock more nutrients into your food. And you can control and monitor your fridge freezer settings easily thanks to the touch control panel on this model.
Energy ratings for fridge freezers range from A+++ to D. The higher the rating, the more efficient your appliance will be. This model has an A+ rating which is fairly good. It’ll use less energy than lower rated models – which is both great for the environment and your electricity bill.
Fits in a tall cabinet
Ideal if you want to create a streamlined kitchen or you already have integrated appliances, this model has been designed to fit perfectly at eye level amongst your kitchen cabinets. This way, you can effortlessly pack away the weekly shop and see inside your fridge freezer with ease. As you can fit your cabinet door on the front, it’s a subtle addition to your kitchen. While saving space, this model doesn’t scrimp on performance, as it still has the same fantastic features you’d expect from a freestanding model.
The Coolmatic function on this model from AEG helps keep food extra fresh. When you add new food items from the supermarket into your fridge it’s really important to chill them as quickly as possible to lock in flavour, freshness and nutrients. When you’ve done a big shop you can use this setting to lower the fridge temperature to 2oC for just long enough to bring all the contents to the optimum storage temperature so your food will stay fresh for longer.
This AEG model has a handy Frostmatic setting that’s perfect for when you’re adding groceries to your freezer. By rapidly decreasing the temperature inside the cabinet, this feature makes sure that any fresh or slightly thawed food is frozen as quickly as possible to lock in freshness and nutrients. Once all your food is perfectly frozen, the freezer will return to its standard setting.
This freezer requires defrosting manually to eliminate unwanted ice build-ups and excess frost forming on the freezer walls. Ice formations on your food can affect its freshness and flavour, so regularly defrosting benefits your food’s quality as well as your freezer. This model will come with a manual that will advise you on how regularly you’ll need to defrost, and the best methods.

Good as they come
Its very difficult to see a decent selection of fridge freezers on the high street so I had to do all my research without actually being able to see any of the middle range at all. Bit daunting. This seemed to fit the bill better than most and I would have bought a dearer one if I had to. Must say, well pleased it. ao delivered swiftly and kept me informed almost when it would arrive to the minute. Brilliant

Found it hard to choose a replacement built in fridge and settled on this one following some research. On the outside it's slightly larger than the one it replaced but on the inside that seemed to translate to quite a bit more space. It's quiet and the fridge is well lit. The storage trays in the door are well designed and I like that one of the internal shelves can be reduced by half so you can easily store tall items (in our case a Brita water filter). The one thing I would say is the installation instructions (for fitting unit doors etc) are TERRIBLE and I'm a reasonable dab hand at DIY. Be aware that with this fridge you mount the matching unit doors directly on the fridge rather than having them hinged onto the unit itself and then using sliders connecting the doors to the fridge. This is how the fridge can be a bit bigger, but does make it trickier to install the doors.
