Product Overview

This excellent value Bosch dishwasher washes up to a whopping 12 place settings at once. It’s really flexible thanks to the movable racking and adjustable height. So, you can fit in larger pots and pans around your plates. It's got 5 settings including an Intensive cycle that cleans dishes at 70 degrees. To save you time there's a Half Load setting. And, you can set the appliance to run later with a 3, 6 and 9 hour Delay Timer. There’s also an Eco drive brushless motor, which mean it’s super silent. And, it’s been rated an A+ for energy efficiency.

    Easy to use dishwasher

Pros:Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet

    Cons:none

"Its an easy to use well build dishwasher, it has one dial with temperature settings and few dials to indicate what the dishwasher is doing at the time. It hasn't got a time display but its not necessary. It has a 12 place settings and has A+ power consumption. Good make and 2 years manufacturer warranty. Pretty quiet 50 dB."

    Paying for a name?

Pros:Value for money, Quiet, easy to install

Cons:very lightweight construction, instructions not great, poor door handle design

"Right or wrong, I tend to trust the German brands (and they do receive good reviews) but they can be expensive. This was however an excellent price for a high-end brand, though on first appearances and general performance this is a budget appliance. Compared with the 13 year old Hotpoint this replaced it is very lightly constructed, with a largely plastic interior. Nothing wrong with that, though the thing is so light it's quite easy to pull the whole washer out of its cubby when trying to open the door (particularly because the door catch itself is quite awkward and stiff). I also dislike the design of the handle because it creates a hidden aperture that will be difficult to clean and this is possibly not ideal for kitchen hygiene. The machine washes well, but the standard cycle time is very long compared to any dishwasher I've encountered before - I presume this is down to its eco credentials. The capacity is good but the basket allows dishes to be packed very densely which does mean they don't always rinse completely and sometimes have a slightly gritty feel. Drying is merely ok. The controls are simple, but not particularly informative or intuitive. Setting the salt and rinse aid usage levels is not obvious and requires reference to the instructions, which could in my view be clearer. Installation was straightforward, assisted by the lightweight construction though, again, the instructions are merely OK. Overall, you get what you pay for and this was not an expensive machine so no complaints, and time will tell whether going for Bosch was indeed the good investment I expect it to be."

    Bosch dishwasher

Pros:Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

    Cons:none

"Delighted with this dishwasher, couldn't ask for more does everything you need it to do, start delay is really useful to wash overnight and it is so quiet we don't even hear it. Far better than our last one which cost more!"

    Cleans very well

Pros:Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, large capacity

Cons:doesn't have a digital time display

"I chose this model as I wanted the additional 75 degree wash programme plus the half load function which is really handy when you only have a small amount of light dirty dishes and mugs, this helps free up the machine for the later big evening wash. I took a dinner plate with me when looking around retail shops and was surprised the plate didn't fit in some brands. You can adjust the top shelf in alot of models but even doing this my plate still wouldn't fit. All the Bosch models were fine so just be aware. My only criticism of this model is that it doesn't have a digital time display which my previous Bosch model had. This is really handy as it tells you how long the programme has before finishing. Otherwise this model is very quiet and cleans very well."
