Save time, water and energy with this Serie 6 dishwasher from Bosch. With 14 place settings, this model is great for washing up after a large family. And, it comes with clever sensors too, which adjusts the amount of water and electricity used depending on the size of your wash! If that wasn’t enough, it knows when your plates and glasses are really dirty, and prolongs the rinse process until they come out sparkling again.
Bigger than your average dishwasher, this model has plenty of room to cope with the busiest home kitchens thanks to its 14 place settings. Your typical place setting is made up of a dinner plate, a soup bowl, a dessert plate, a tea cup and saucer as well as all of your usual meal-time cutlery. So, with the capacity to hold all of this 14 times over, you’ll be able to entertain dinner guests without worrying about the dishes.
A plus energy rating
By calculating and combining the drying efficiency, load capacity, noise level and water and energy consumption, this dishwasher has been awarded the third best rating for energy efficiency. Almost half of the electricity consumed in your home is estimated to be from kitchen appliances, so choosing a more efficient model like this A+ rated dishwasher can really help you save on your energy bills.
Active water sensor technology
Active Water is a revolutionary bit of technology from Bosch that ensures you get the most from every drop of water that your dishwasher uses. By reducing the amount of water in the rinse phase, increasing the heating-up times and improving pump performance, no water is wasted. By reducing water and energy consumption, this model reduces your impact on the environment and can help you to save money on your utility bills.
VarioDrawer cutlery tray
The VarioDrawer provides extra flexibility for cleaning your cutlery. Bosch have cleverly removed the traditional cutlery basket that you’d find in standard dishwashers, and replaced it with a special drawer at the top. This clever feature helps to create more space in the lower baskets for bulkier items.
Time saving VarioSpeed plus
The VarioSpeed Plus option on this Bosch dishwasher has your dishes cleaned up to three times faster. By reducing the rinse time by more than half, you get the same high levels of cleaning and drying in a fraction of the time. This option is ideal when you need to clean a large amount of dishes or glasses in a flash.

Don't like dishwasher

Super quiet but that's about it
It's very quiet. Maybe we have a dud but it doesn't clean as well as the 10 year dishwasher it replaced (including the 2 week period when the old dishwasher had a faulty control circuit)
Basically, it does not like finish tablets and they are never fully displaced. Glasses are often left gritty. Switching to liquid detergent helped a bit but all in all pretty disappointed
As for the cutlery drawer, I thought I would love it but I think I would stick with the basket. Things don't seem to get any cleaner (that may not be a feature problem but a machine problem...). I am picky about loading and if you suddenly expect others I. The house to amend their ways to load the cutlery tray the way you think it should be; well keep waiting. Also the drawer cuts down on the vertical distance (obviously but I did not think about it) and our tallest glasses barely fit.

Can not fit pint glasses or even short wine glasses in glass shelf!
Having had a Bosch dishwasher before, we knew how useful the cutlery tray was, and how quiet they ran, thus buying this one. However for reasons we can't fathom, there is not enough space to have pint glasses (standard height), or even shortish wine glasses in the top tray, standard width dinner plates in the bottom and still be able to open and close the top cutlery draw. The top draw is adjustable, but if you have it on the setting that allows the plates to fit in the bottom, the glasses don't fit in the top!! Not believing Bosch could have made such a design error we decided to struggle on and try and find a solution...sadly we didn't, and having spent more than 14 days trying to find a workaround and failing, we have been informed our only option is to buy another one!! A lot of money wasted.
Pros: QuietCons: Not fit for purpose, Poor quality
