There was no room in our 2005 kitchen for a dishwasher when I installed it but other base units adjacent determined that there was actually a gap next to the sink for a bespoke unit for trays and a double towel rail (150mm wide). This abutted a 300mm wide base unit + a couple of 18mm decor panels making a potential space there of 486mm! 10 years later with a dripping tap seeking early retirement I contemplated replacing the tap which also got me to contemplate purchase of a slimline dishwasher. With some layout changes and the 300mm base unit cleverly relocated the idea took shape. The original sink needed to come out to make the tap replacement easier to achive but the supply pipes also needed to be moved sightly to enable any slimline dishwasher to go far enough back to become flush with the other units too.The old sink also had a dual drain outlet from the sink and its drainer which encroached slightly into the space I needed so it too had to be replaced. Having studied the Spec for all the Bosch Slimline dishwashers I decided we should buy one. I was delighted when I notice the 44dBa quieter 10 place setting version SPS59T02GB_WH which we bought. The sink (marginally longer and wider) and tap replacement took a couple of days but it also enabled all the (80% blocked) waste pipes to be cleared or replaced at the same time. This was not time wasted as I had to order an extension lead from Bosch as the supply lead at 1.8M was almost a meter shorter than I needed. Its arrived 2 days later enabled our "Supersilent" SPS59T02GB_WH to be fully installed and do what it does best. 10 weeks later we cannot fault our decision to buy Bosch.

Fantastic buy-amazing capacity
I was absolutely blown away by the capacity of this dishwasher. We had to buy it after our old kenwood kept "forgetting" to rince, and we were going to be 8 people at home. With our last one, as a family of four we would struggle to do 2 meals and a breakfast. This one can do 2 meals and 2 breakfast.
You can easily put 8 wine glasses on the bottom tray, liberating an insane amount of space at the top. Cups, mugs, bowls, glasses fit in no problem.
I was really pleasantly surprised by the amount of cutlery that could fit in the top tray.
This is so quiet you do not hear it at all, not even when it is drawing water. It has got a great drying program that ensure plastic items (we have lots if these because we have young children) are completely dry. There is also a faster program.
I found the setting up a bit of a faff the first time (when you need to set the hardness of the water) but it just took 5 minutes and we will not have to do it again. It also ensure that the correct amount of salt and rincing aid is used.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this one, even though it is quite expensive
Pros: Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: Expensive

Replaced an older Bosch which lasted many years. Excellent so far and so quiet you don't know it is on! Lots of fancy features but also gives good results on a 30 minute quickwash. The cutlery tray/rack at the top works well too. Check that you have enough room for the tennis ball sized Aquastop valve on the tap end of the inlet hose ( I looked at a local electrical store).

Pleased we got it.
Before the machine, when we used to make porridge, we used to have to soak the pan for a good half hour before giving the pan a good scrub by hand. Now it just goes into the machine, doesn’t matter how dried on the old porridge is, it comes out as good as new. Also post machine, our glasses are polished and shiny, something, hand on heart I could not say before we had the machine. So we are very pleased with how the machine cleans.
The machine is very quiet, we have it in the kitchen, and it can’t be heard in any other room in the house, even with all the doors open. And when we are in the kitchen the only why to be sure the machine is on and working is to look at the display.
We are 2. We place all our dishes from all the day, including some cooking pans in the machine, before switching it on after dinner. Plenty of room in the machine for this. We probably could go 2 days before the machine was full. i.e 4 people. However I would be surprised if you could clean the advertised 10 place settings.
It’s not a problem, but I am surprised it takes 2 hours plus to 3 hours plus run a cycle, when our washing machine does its cycle so much quicker.
What was a problem is the inlet house has fist size valve attachment connect to the end. I had preinstalled pipping for the machine which I could not use because of this.(not enough room because the valve attachment was jutting out about 11 cm) I suspect most people, will as I did, have to use a jig saw to cut a fist size hole in the side of their units. Having said that, do other makes have the same configuration?
Strongly built, which is probably why it comes with a 2 year guarantee.
Pleased we got it.

Bosch is the Best
This machine is the quietest d/w I've ever had which is key for us as we're in an open plan space and didn't want the post dinner washing up noises disturbing the post dinner tv watching.
It has a nice cutlery rack at the top and great capacity to take our big pans as well as the plates, cups and glasses.
I've always had Bosch d/w and really can't fault this one at all.

I am very impressed with this dishwasher which replaced one about 10 years old which had problems.
It is so quiet and cleans very effectively. Love the
cutlery tray. Much better than a basket.
