Simple slider controls and 2 lights make sure the stage is set for a smoother cooking experience, while the 2 washable grease filters ensure quick and easy cleaning. With its affordable price tag, this cooker hood is the ideal choice for those on a budget.
This extractor was a nightmare to fit into an existing untit. All mounting holes are tucked away inside the unit which makes getting at the screws difficult. I don't know why it doesn't have mounting screws in the bottom edge or above the extractor as this would be hidden anyway.
The finish is poor and the edges don't line up very well.
All in all i wouldn't buy this extractor for another kitchen.

Baumatic TEL06SS Cooker Hood
We selected this hood for our kitchen refit last year based partly on reviews but also on the volume it claimed to shift, and the price. We have now been using it for a year and are very pleased with our choice. It sits unobtrusively under a decent sized cabinet above, with the large 5" tube out to the outside taking up minimal space. The one thing that we wanted and many hoods couldn't offer was clearing steam from cooking rather than just odours. The flow quoted for this hood suggested it would do the job and it certainly does. If the kitchen windows start to steam up we just switch on the hood for a few minutes and they quickly clear. For regular use the lowest setting does the job so the noise isn't too intrusive, but it does remove the steam from the pans on the hob. Fitting was a bit of a fiddle but it's been worth it. We've had no problems with it at all and it is thoroughly recommended. You can pay several hundred pounds for the big names and get a less efficient hood!

Very pleased with the extractor, disappointed in the installation instructions which are really poor. A lot of little bits in a bag, not all of which can be identified and nothing in the leaflet about them or how to change from extract to recirculate. Thank goodness for an engineering background.

Ideal for small kitchen area or to conceal the bulk of the extractor fan.

Good for the money
Has worked well over the last year. Reliable apart from a bulb blowing, but that's acceptable.
Very noisy though.
