Stand Installation, Disposal
Stand Installation £ 44.99
We want you to enjoy your new TV as soon as possible. Rather than messing about with cables and following loads of steps in the instruction manual, let us set it up for you. We'll attach the new TV to the stand that it comes with. If you've bought an additional TV stand, there's a separate installation charge. We'll also tune it in, set up any Smart features and connect up all your existing kit. We’ll even take away the bulky packaging.
Disposal £ 14.99
We’ll happily take away your old TV for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s unplugged and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old TV away on our van rather than the recycling service. If you've paid for installation, we will recycle your old TV free of charge.

Brilliant HD picture and very good SD picture. The only minor gripe would be that the picture could do with being a touch brighter. Looks stylish and easy to use.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good

Good tv but not wall mountable
Great tv- but says it is wall mountable. However, the power cable sticks out too far for this to happen. We have bought 2 different wall mounting plates. So we are going to get some wood, and extend the wall mount to fit it to the wall. Not ideal.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Value for money

My wife's tv
My wife is unfortunately bed bound with m/s a good tv is a must to enable her to experience some enjoyment that we take for granted. We bought the Panasonic smart TV as a result of owning several Panasonic products all of which have been rock solid in all departments. Buy this TVs with total confidence.

We bought this to go in our kitchen, replacing and old radio/ cd player and provide access to BBC TV news, cricket and music via Freeview radio channels or, for music, via a PC.
First of all, after a lot of online investigation and head scratching, I suggest as early as possible you perform a system reset (Menu/ Setup/ System Menu/ Shipping Condition.) This seems to be the solution to getting the on- demand apps like All4 working. Otherwise you may get an on screen message about not being able to connect to the network- even though the network connection works perfectly in other modes. (This solution apparently suits other TVs in the DS 500b range.)
Set up was straight forward although having two other Panasonic TVs and a blueray recorder, I like to have roughly the same channel order on all devices. Resetting the TV, after I had spent several hours reorganising the channels was not a pleasure.
I wanted to move the CD/ music to a PC running an excellent Windows server called Mezzmo. Accessing the server was another head scratching couple of days. What confused me is that there are 3 types or groups of Apps on the TV and they are accessed in different positions on the Home Screens, or simply different Home Screens.
Apps Market, with movie trailer apps; music apps, sports, Games, etc.
Apps: which includes the media player, media server, TV guide, Web Browser, clock, etc.
Apps via the Free Digital Home Screen, which include All4, Demand 5, ITV Hub, etc.
All 3 of the above include the BBC iPlayer, which did not help my confusion.
Finally I did try, when failing to access the PC server, to use the USB port for music, but this suffers from a peculiar Panasonic way of displaying files and shortened file names. The USB port is there if I ever need it in the future.
While the above seems negative, we are actually now very pleased with the TV. Finally it does what we want. I hope that by posting the above, other potential buyers will be able to avoid the initial problems and get on with using it as they want.
