Stand Installation, Disposal
Stand Installation £ 44.99
We want you to enjoy your new TV as soon as possible. Rather than messing about with cables and following loads of steps in the instruction manual, let us set it up for you. We'll attach the new TV to the stand that it comes with. If you've bought an additional TV stand, there's a separate installation charge. We'll also tune it in, set up any Smart features and connect up all your existing kit. We’ll even take away the bulky packaging.
Disposal £ 14.99
We’ll happily take away your old TV for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s unplugged and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old TV away on our van rather than the recycling service. If you've paid for installation, we will recycle your old TV free of charge.
Experience a world of entertainment in perfect clarity with this 58” Panasonic Smart TV. Using Certified 4K Ultra HD technology, it gives you the clearest picture, with vivid detail and stunning sharpness. Thanks to HDR, colours are more vivid and lifelike, so you’ll be completely immersed in your favourite movie. Freeview HD with Freeview Play is built-in, so you have instant access to subscription-free channels and 7 days of catch up TV. And the easy to use Smart platform with My Homescreen 2.0 makes it easy to scroll through the best On Demand TV and apps.
To achieve the Certified Ultra HD 4K stamp of approval, a TV needs to have true 4K resolution that uses four times more pixels than Full HD, as well as vivid 8 bit colour depth. By choosing this model, you can rest assured that you’ll experience the very best that UHD 4K has to offer. As the number of channels broadcasting in 4K continues to grow, your TV will be ready – so you can enjoy new content the way it was meant to be seen. You’ll also benefit from 4K upscaling to make more of HD channels and your Blu-ray collection.
HDR takes 4K viewing to the next level, delivering incredibly vivid, life-like colours that’ll make sure you enjoy the ultimate home cinema experience. By ramping up the contrast, HDR provides brighter whites and darker blacks, so every frame is super-dynamic and detailed. This means a more realistic picture onscreen, so you’ll feel more immersed in what you’re watching.
Freeview HD with Freeview Play
This Panasonic TV gives you instant access to over 60 fantastic Freeview channels, including 12 in HD. And it’s all completely subscription-free – you just need to tune your TV in and you can start watching right away. This model also features Freeview Play, which makes catching up on your favourite shows easy. Simply connect your TV to your home broadband to access shows from the last 7 days from a range of popular channels, all in one place.
Smart My Home Screen 2
With its simple circle icons, Panasonic makes Smart TV simple. The clever My Home Screen 2.0 platform is powered by Firefox, so navigating through catch-up TV services and apps is super-quick and easy. The clutter-free design also makes setting and customising all your favourite apps fast, fun and effortless. This means it takes less time than ever to find and select your favourite programmes – so you can start watching as soon as you’re ready.
With a choice of two positions, you can customise the placement of the feet on this Panasonic TV. This means you can tailor it to suit your home – and your TV stand – so you can give it pride of place in any room.
Absolutely delighted with TV. Very easy to set up once we got the bracket situated. Sound was a bit high pitched but once we made changes we are well impressed. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something large
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: None

This TV is enormous. It looms quite significantly until you turn it on, but then it's like a window to another world. All the smart connectivity your could want, bar Plex natively. It is accessible and usable via the built in web browser though.
The Usb and network streaming has played everything I've thrown at it as well.
The picture quality depends on the source but you're guaranteed to have your breath taken away by 4k HDR Netflix. sd freeview can be quite blocky as you'd expect.
Freeview hd does have an odd stutter every now and again as well but this is being fixed in a software update apparently. Your won't see this issue if you're running sky or any other third party source through the panel.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Value for moneyCons: Odd pq artifacts with freeview hd

Cutting edge 4K HDR TV from Panasonic
Panasonic TX-58DX700B TV in Black
The DX700 is certainly a good looking TV. Its design is attractively minimalist with just a narrow silver frame surrounding the 58-inch screen. It also boasts an impressively thin profile.
And no complaints about the connections. Hidden away behind two panels on the back of the unit are 3 HDMIs, a pair of USBs and a separate USB for an HDD recorder. There are also headphone and aerial sockets, as well as connections for ethernet, digital audio and AV.
Fitting the feet to the TV is a bit fiddly, but setting up the TV itself is a piece of cake and takes about ten minutes from the welcome screen. (Just remember to have your password to hand to connect to your wifi network.)
Navigating the TV is equally straightforward. The home screen initially presents you with three options – Live TV, Apps and Devices. You can also pin frequently used channels, apps, etc to your home screen to personalise it — a really useful feature that saves on clicking. The DX700 comes equipped with Freeview HD and also Freeview Play which lets you catch up on any programmes you’ve missed. It’s also ‘pre-loaded’ with a range of apps, including BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
As for the picture and sound quality, both are outstanding. Of course, this television is built to display 4K Ultra High Definition content, and unfortunately, there’s not a lot of that around at the moment. But it’s only a matter of time until it becomes more widely available. Happily, the DX700 upscales HD programmes really well to give a beautiful crisp image with excellent contrast. Standard definition programmes don’t fare so well and look slightly fuzzy, but that’s hardly the fault of this TV – standard def content is never going to look great on a big 3840 x 2160 pixel screen.
As for audio quality, the DX700’s built-in speakers deliver great sound as well as providing an effective surround sound option. Mid and high frequencies are reproduced well, but if you want more bass you will have to add a soundbar.
The out-of-the-box settings are fine, but they are only a starting point. Normal viewing mode makes blu-rays look overlit and false – a problem commonly known as the Soap Opera Effect. But a quick visit to the menu reveals two movie modes, Cinema and True Cinema, both of which produce excellent results. Additional tweaks can be made in the Advanced Settings to further optimise both picture and sound.
As there’s no 4K High Dynamic Range content currently available, I downloaded a couple of Panasonic’s own Ultra High Def HDR demos which I loaded onto a USB stick and plugged into the back of the TV. The resulting images were quite incredible, delivering the most amazing clarity and depth of colour. Any lingering reservations I might have had about investing in a 4K HDR TV were blown away upon seeing these demos.
As to the negatives, I’m happy to report that they are both minor ones.
The splayed silver support feet are oddly distracting – although they are robust, so the issue is no more than a cosmetic (and subjective) one. But the handset niggle is slightly more annoying. Directly above the up navigation arrow is a large Netflix button which is really easy to press by mistake, especially in a darkened room. Even if you do subscribe to Netflix, it’s still irritating to keep finding yourself on their homepage and having to navigate back.
But, as I said, these really are very minor nit-picks. Overall the Panasonic TX-58DX700B is an outstanding 4K HDR-ready TV, and for picture and sound quality alone I’d be more than happy to award it a shiny five out of five stars.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Superlative sound, Top-notch pictureCons: Feet/stand design, Handset layout
Male, 45 to 54, Small Family from Leyland
Superb picture quality and easy to use
I was upgrading from a 46 inch plasma and was concerned about picture quality especially blacks. I need not have worried, the picture is superb (used AV forums for the best settings), used Netflix/Amazon instant video with steaming in 4k, no issues although Netflix wins on ease of use & occasionally Amazon takes a few seconds to buffer.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Expensive
Male, 45 to 54, Single from Bolton
Amazing looking TV with great features
I have now had this TV for just over a week and to say I'm pleased is an understatement. Ease of setup is outstanding and was ready for use almost immediately. The way the processing power of this product helps with up scaling now has me wanting to go back through a back catalogue of great films in HD just to see how it handles them. Panasonic have truly got a serious contender with this brilliant range of 4K HDR TV''s
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: None
Male, 25 to 34, Small Family from Lymm
Amazing TV, I feel that the sound quality could be improved. Maybe with a soundbar this would be better but with such an expensive set the sound should be good as standard!
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Value for moneyCons: Not brilliant sound quality
