Connection, Disposal, Disconnection
Connection £ 19.99
We want you to get up and running straight away with your new appliance, which is why our expert team will connect your new item to your water pipes and make sure everything is working properly. Connecting it yourself? Make sure you remove the transit bolts. These will make a loud rattling sound if they’re left in place when you run a cycle.
Disposal £ 24.99
We’ll happily take away your old appliance for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s disconnected, empty and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old appliance away on our van rather than the recycling service.
8kg drum capacity - great for medium-sized households
Rated A for energy efficiency
Annual energy cost - £167.55
Easily removes 20 of the most common stains
Dimensions (cm) - H85 x W59.5 x D60.5
Lifts heavy stains and saves money on your wash. The Hotpoint WDAL8640G gives you an 8kg drum which washes up to 40 T-shirts and dries 6kg (that’s around 21 wet T-shirts). There’s an Anti-Stain wash which uses a constant temperature to help lift out stubborn marks, while the eco wash uses small bursts of energy over a longer wash to keep your electricity costs low. It’s so effective this model is rated A for efficiency and costs just £27.46 a year to run. Very impressive for a machine that does the job of two appliances in one.
I got this machine to ease my drying rituals. But the clothes come out smelling like hot rubber with any of their recommended programs.Wouldn't recommend to buy this model.

Does what it's supposed to
Great price and looks good. Not the quietest machine but i rarely sit in the kitchen when it's in use so not really a big deal. Has a lot of settings (i recommend reading the manual) and so far the dryer seems to do a decent job.

I'm sorry, I hate this washing machine and I'm going to get rid. I purchased it for our tenants. When I came round a couple of months later I noticed they had unplumbed it, placed it in the garage and bought their own washer-dryer instead. I've now used it a few times myself and can see why! The cycles are INCREDIBLY long - more than three hours?? For a basic 40 degree wash cycle? I had to keep forcing the cycle on to its rinse stage as I was so bored waiting for it to finish. There's a "quick" cycle option - which is just 30 mins and doesn't clean anything. And there's no indicator to tell you how much longer the cycle has to go, which is annoying. Also, there is no "delayed start" option, which I also found annoying. Finally, its noisy. It really is. I think for the money you can get something a bit more sophisticated and better designed than this. My Zanussi washer-dryer is 15 years old and far superior to this one. And it still works fine. When it dies, I won't be buying Hotpoint.
