Connection, Disposal, Disconnection
Connection £ 24.99
We want you to get up and running straight away with your new appliance, which is why our expert team will connect your new item to your water pipes and make sure everything is working properly. Connecting it yourself? Make sure you remove the transit bolts. These will make a loud rattling sound if they’re left in place when you run a cycle.
Disposal £ 24.99
We’ll happily take away your old appliance for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s disconnected, empty and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old appliance away on our van rather than the recycling service.
Disconnection £ 6.99
We’ll disconnect your old appliance when we deliver your new one
This includes the tricky job of disconnecting it from your water pipes
Make delivery even easier by selecting all three connection and disconnection services in the basket. In one trip we can:
This Miele washing machine is as efficient as it is effective. The 9kg drum makes it ideal for medium-sized households. This model has an A+++ energy efficiency rating, so it’s really economical to run. The TwinDos feature automatically releases the perfect amount of detergent and conditioner to your wash, taking the guesswork out of laundry. It also has a fantastic Stain Action Option, which can tackle up to 23 stubborn stains, including red wine and grass. This model has been tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use, giving you complete confidence in its outstanding build quality.
After our previous Miele started making a very loud spin noise after ten years of intensive use, we decided to buy another Miele.
With three kids we have at least two washes a day with plenty of sports-stained kit and also whites. Our son plays rugby in white shorts with a coloured stripe and these are always filthy. They cannot be washed at over 40 degrees so are a nightmare. This machine coped with these shorts perfectly - very impressive.
The clothes come out beautifully clean, it is very quiet, there are lots of different wash options, and the Twindos detergent system is very clever. I don't know if it costs more to use the Twindos detergent, but as the end result is such clean clothes I don't mind. Also the machine came with a year's free supply (won't last a year at two washes a day!)
The machine has a second recirculating pump for Powerwash which recycles the wash water from the bottom of the drum to the top which helps with the wash.
There is a Capdos system for adding detergent but that does look very expensive to me (about £1 a go) and I don't like the waste of plastic containers. I might have misunderstood the point but it looks a bit gimmicky and designed to generate profits for Miele.
We are delighted with this machine and took out the ten year manufacturer warranty (which came in very handy when our three year old Miele dryer suffered what would have been an expensive breakdown.)
There are several Youtube videos explaining Twindos and Powerwash.

SO quiet compared to my old machine
This Miele is amazingly quiet you only hear the slushing of the water and clothes tumbling during the wash and even on spin there is a humm rather than a screaching high-pitched noise like some oither machines make.
I like the idea of automatic dosing from the twindos but you have to remember to select that option on the front panel before you press start. The machine should remember that it was selected last time and maybe just make you chose between whites or coloureds on the menu.
I love that you can adjust the temperature for each setting and you can press the 'quick wash' button to reduce the wash cycle duration.
Clothes come out of the wash with a much lower water content thanks to the 1600 spin (which you can reduce if you want)
