Connection £ 9.99
We’ll get your new fridge in place, level the feet and take away all the bulky packaging for you. Your appliance will need to sit for a few hours before it’s plugged in. This is important as it ensures the gas coolant inside the fridge settles.
Disposal £ 19.99
We’ll happily take away your old appliance for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s disconnected, empty and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old appliance away on our van rather than the recycling service.
Style meets quality. In a stainless steel finish, this Haier wine cooler will add a real touch of luxury to your kitchen. Inside you’ve got really sturdy wooden shelves that provide the right environment for your wine too. The electronic control on the outside lets you easily alter the conditions inside, plus it looks brilliant! Not only this, but it’s rated B for energy efficiency too – which is amazing compared to other models and is sure to save you money on your bills.
When I first opened the Haier Wine Cellar, I was actually taken aback by its size. Of course we measured, but it seemed really big and bulky. Saying that however, it still looks very impressive – sleek and stylish in a stainless steel finish.
This was ordered especially for the Christmas period, we only have a small fridge so we though this would be perfect for all the festive bottles of wine. We actually haven’t managed to fill it with its full capacity of 50 plus bottles!
There are pros and cons to this wine cellar. It has some nice touches, like an LCD touch screen control panel so you can control the temperature inside the wine cellar. There are two compartments within the wine cellar, the top keeps bottles chilled, perfect for white wine, where as the bottom compartment can be kept at room temperature, perfect for red wine!
There are a few cons however. The first is that it is so big. It can be quite an overbearing feature in your kitchen. The shelves are also quite restrictive inside the wine cellar. I appreciate that the middle shelve is fixed as to differentiate between the two compartments, but the other moving shelves don’t really utilise the space in my opinion. This wine cellar is also very expensive so it should be a purchase not taken lightly.
In my opinion this would be a suitable purchase for someone really into their wines – there are features on this appliance such as an active carbon filter, which cleans the air inside the wine cellar to help wine breather through its cork! There is also an anti UV glass door to protect your wine. I’d say if you are a wine connoisseur, this is a perfect buy, but not so much if you like your supermarket 3 for a tenner!

A wine cooler of for those who like the better things in life.
This cooler is a serious bit of kit and I am very pleased to have bought it. I must, however, advise any intending purchaser to ensure that they have taken into account the size of the unit. It is rather deep (giving the unit superb capacity I might add). Width and height are as per a normal under the counter fridge, but if you did pop it under the counter, it would stick out a bit.
If I was picky, I would say that sometimes it makes a little bit of noise. For those of us with self defrosting fridge freezers, it a familiar sound of the unit dealing with ice build-up. To me this is good as I hope never to have to manually defrost anything ever again!
The positives are as follows:
1 - great build quality and upmarket appearance.
2 - two temperature zones, I use one to give a slight chill to wines such as Morgon and Fleurie.
3 - huge capacity - this chiller was bought before Christmas 2015 and we tried (but failed) to drink the contents of the chiller.
4 - Easy to operate, a touch sensitive display lets you adjust each of the zones for exact temperature.
5 - made for people who love wine. UV, humidity and vibrations are all managed to ensure that your decent wines stay decent.
Overall, a superb purchase and I am hopeful that it will last a long time and provide me and my friends and family with many optimally served bottles of wine. If you want your wine to be at its best, buy this unit. If you like 3 bottles for a tenner, this unit would probably be an extravagance too far!
