Big drum gets the job done. The huge 9 kg condenser tumble dryer will get a huge pile of clothes dry in no time. And, thanks to sensor drying, this machine will detect when your clothes are dry and automatically finish the cycle - saving you time and energy. There's some great special programmes on this machine including a 15 minute shirt cycle as well as programmes for wool, sportwear and lingerie. Bosch have taken care with its drum design giving you a textile care surface and antivibration design for greater stability and quietness.
This dryer is nowhere near as good as my old dryer. If I wanted laundry hanging around drying, I'd get a washing line in my small garden. It has a very dry programme but I have only attained very dry once.

Another Great Bosch Product
Great build quality and straightforward controls. All the programs I needed were there. Especially like that I can dry wool items and safely dry footwear using the detachable cage. For this dryer to be absolutely perfect I would have liked the wool cage to be collapsible and the door to be reversible. Really they're just minor gripes as I totally love this purchase.

THE BEST DRYER
We had a Bosch dryer for many years and it worked OK but you had to stick the exhaust pipe out of the window. This new condensing dryer is a fantastic improvement. The condensate collector is large but easy to empty and the hot air exhaust is DRY and warms the house so, the electricity used is used twice so to speak. The machine is quiet, detects when the clothes are dry, and is easy to use. Well done Bosch!

Does better than expected
We bought this to replace an old, dangerous dryer that 1) wouldn't always stop when you opened the door and 2) sometimes wouldn't stop at all until you unplugged it! We also had to open the window and church the exhaust outside, which also let cold air into the house - not nice in the winter! So this seemed a good idea, we have tried one years ago but that was not good, it took hours and didn't dry. But technology has obviously moved on, this dryer does exactly what it should do (dry clothes) and it has a sensor that determines when to stop. We have found it efficient, quick and a pleasant change to the rubbish we had before. No steam in the utility room, the dryer also warms up the room slightly (heat exchanger transmits warmth) and my wife actually agrees that I made the right choice! Recommended - but read the instructions first, it will save you a lot of hassle.

Good quality machine
Very good for drying sheets and towels, not so good on other items but that's OK I only need it for sheets and towels .

You Get What You Pay For
I would definitely recommend this condenser tumble drier. It has an absolutely huge drum, which has an internal light for ease of loading/unloading.
It easily outperforms my previous (Indesit) condenser tumble drier, which I had to run about three times to get clothes properly dry even when it was brand new.
Incidentally, I've recently discovered that the Indesit drier has been a ticking fire time bomb waiting to explode all these years. It was one of the models subject to a safety alert recall. Things like that tend not to happen with Bosch equipment.
Do not listen to the negative reviews stating that this tumble drier does not dry your clothes. I can categorically assure any doubters that the people who say that are obviously unable or unwilling to read the instructions. If you use the tumble drier correctly, you can ensure that a full 9kg load comes out completely dry. The cycles that leave the clothes slightly damp are designed for a specific reason. Trust me, the 'very dry' cotton setting will result in perfectly dry clothing when the cycle is complete, and the sensor drying feature will ensure the machine stops the instant the clothes are dry, protecting them from overheating.
Similarly, the 'very dry' setting for sensitive fabrics ensures that the clothing comes out perfectlly dry, but without subjecting them to a more harsh cycle.
There is also a handy cage which can be used to dry trainers and woollen items in the centre of the drum, keeping them stationary during the drying cycle so that they aren't damaged by the relentless pounding they would receive if allowed to spin around the drum.
All in all, this machine is immeasurably superior to my Indesit drier. I know it is expensive for a tumble drier, but you really get what you pay for when you have to use a condenser drier. I can only find one flaw with the machine, and that is the fact that there are one or two machines on the market which have specifications stating that they are quieter (lower decibel figure). However, I can quite honestly say that this machine is whisper quiet compared to my Indesit machine, and I have not actually heard any of 'quieter' machines running, so the claims may turn out to be false. If you last bought a machine more than 5 years ago, you will be surprised at how quiet this one actually is.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: Expensive
