This autumn bunting is so simple to make and it’s a perfect activity to welcome in the colder months and darker evenings. As much as I love summer I am also a huge fan of autumn. Warm jumpers, blackberry crumbles, conker hunting and walking through crispy autumn leaves, there is so much to enjoy at this time of year.

Here's How It's Done...

  • 1

Start by cutting lots of leaves out of the felt. You can do them in different colours or the same, which ever you feel will work better in your home.

Then take your pom poms and glue them in the acorn tops.

Cut a piece of yarn long enough to fit all your leaves with a space between each. Thread the yarn onto a large needle and start threading each felt leaf onto it, stopping to secure an acorn top with a knot between each one.

Hang your bunting wherever you would like it to go, and give a warm welcome to Autumn. We put ours on our fireplace.
