7-Dim the lights

Here's how it's done...

  • 1

Before you invite your little crafter to the table, carefully pierce a hole in the transparent lid. Ensure you protect your hands and work surface whilst doing this.

    1

  • 2

Cut a large circle from the white fabric.

    2

  • 3

Thread the button onto a piece of cotton, approx 30-40cm in length, and tie it to the end. Then, thread the needle and cotton through the hole in the lid, and then through the centre of the fabric.

  • 4

Draw a ghostly face on the fabric.

  • 5

Tie the other end of the cotton around the stick.

Pop the glow stick and place it inside the lid. You may need to hold this in place with masking tape.

Dim the lights and give everyone a spooky treat on Halloween with your floatie ghostie. You could take them trick or treating, or to a Halloween party, they will look awesome in the autumn dusk. They’re so easy to make, what are you waiting for? Boo.
