How to measure
We have three types of built-in microwaves available: standard, combination and compact. If you’re designing your dream kitchen from scratch, you’ll be able to find the dimensions of our built-in appliances on our product pages under the Key Information tab. Our handy guide takes the guesswork out of measuring up for your new microwave. We’ll run you through what to measure and how to do it.
Built-in standard microwaves

Built-in microwaves are perfect for people that have fitted kitchens, as they work with the integrated look to create a sleek look.
Standard models are around 60cm wide. Measure your kitchen space to make sure it'll fit.
Check the depth of the space as built-in microwaves vary between 45 and 60cm.
Built-in compact microwaves

There are two types of built-in microwave you can buy - standard and compact.
Compact models are around 50cm wide. Measure your kitchen space to make sure it'll fit.
Check the depth of the space as compact microwaves vary between 29 and 39cm.
Freestanding microwaves
Top tips to remember...
This is a freestanding microwave, designed to sit on your countertop.
They're easy to move if you're moving homes or changing your kitchen.
If you want one that's built into your kitchen, you'll need to instead look for a built-in microwave.
