What do we do?
So you’ve had your brand new Windows laptop delivered, and we know you can’t wait to make it your own. Our expert service is here to help you hit the ground running and, as another little bonus to you, it’s completely free of charge. Here’s what you can expect:
Hello! - one of our experts will chat to you over the phone and take you through the whole process on your screen.
It’s you we’re looking for - we’ll talk you through how to set up your own user profile and log in details.
Log on - connect to your existing home Wi-Fi.
Get surfing - set up your preferred internet browser so you’re ready to stream and get social.
Looking good - we’ll customise and personalise your settings to your taste. We can adjust the display, power and sleep settings as well as your desktop backgrounds.
Stay protected - We’ll install any software you’ve bought from us, like Microsoft Office or your antivirus package. Don’t worry, we’ll load these for free too.
Any other business - set up any included accessories like your mouse or keyboard.
Sounds good right? Once you’ve picked and purchased your perfect Windows laptop, there’s just 3 simple steps you need to follow to book your set-up:

We’ll text you the details of your appointment and send a link with more info on what you need to do on the day we set-up.

Is there anything else I need to know?
Our free laptop set-up service is only available on Windows laptops. This doesn’t include Chromebook, Apple Mac or Desktop PCs. It’s also worth noting that we can only install software that you’ve bought from us.
When you’re booking your appointment, you’ll need your order number, email address and a contact number for the day you’d like us to set up your laptop.
On the day we’re setting up for you, make sure your laptop is unpacked and ready to switch on. You’ll also need your order number, email address, Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password to hand. These should be written on the back of your router, but if you’re not sure where this information is, we’ll help you find it.
