What’s the difference between a sliding and fixed door hinge?

A fixed hinge is designed to the take full weight of the door, so it doesn't use the hinges in your kitchen cabinets.
There’s a safety notice on my Stoves hob. What should I do?
A small number of Stoves gas-through-glass range cookers may have been fitted with the wrong burner caps and burner skirts. Whilst there’s been no reported accidents, the manufacturer is recommending that any customers with an affected hob stop using it straight away. If you think your appliance is affected, find out more information here.
