Mug recipes have always been a guilty pleasure of mine for several reasons, first of all, I’m not that much of a baker and am far too impatient to wait for a fresh batch of cupcakes or Victoria sponge to be baked when I could just quickly whip up something sugary and sweet in the microwave! Secondly because they make minimal mess, there’s no baking trays to wash up and rarely a mixing bowl in sight! Finally, I love them because if you prefer fruity type cakes (like me) but your other half, bezzie or flat mate prefers something different like chocolate flavoured cakes then you can easily make two different mug cakes in less than 10 minutes! Everybody wins!
Today I’m going to be sharing 3 different cake recipes all made in my new Panasonic microwave oven, they couldn’t have been easier to make and since this microwave is 1000W they cook really really quickly (meaning more time to indulge in them!!)
