The BBC Good Food Show has always been an event that massively appeals to me. The chance to discover new producers, sample exciting food and drink and watch some top chefs cook right in front of me, is one that I couldn’t pass up.
This year, it was an added bonus that ao.com were one of the show sponsors and hosted the ever popular Summer Kitchen.
There was plenty on offer to inspire visitors in the Summer Kitchen, which was hosted by celebrity chef, Marcus Bean.
Marcus did a wonderful job on the stage, helping the likes of Thane Prince, Dale Pinnock, Peter Sidwell, Michael Caines, and John Whaite to demonstrate some tasty, seasonal recipes.
The ao.com team managed to catch up with some of the celebrity chefs from the Summer Kitchen and gain exclusive insight into what inspires their cooking, how they learnt to cook and even their favourite dish to make.
Did you go to the show this year and visit the Summer Kitchen? I’d love to know what you thought and if you’ll be trying any of the recipes at home? Or if you bought a new great product that you can’t wait to try out in the kitchen? Let us know in the comments!
