Throughout January, the words ‘fat-free’ and ‘healthy’ dominate blogs, newspapers and magazines, and, I bet you’ve even noticed fewer people dipping into the biscuit tin at the office. But we’’re only human, and from time to time we need to have a treat; a little sweetener to keep us on track.

That’’s exactly what this peach and blueberry smoothie is. The skimmed milk and Greek yoghurt make it taste more like a milkshake than a healthy drink and the fruit has a lovely sweetness to help curb your cravings for more sinful treats.

here's what you'll need...

  • 240ml skimmed milk
  • 2 peaches
  • 80g blueberries
  • 4 tbsp fat-free Greek yoghurt

This is one of the quickest –and tastiest smoothie recipes I know. It also works really well with almond milk if you prefer dairy alternatives.

I have this smoothie for breakfast or in the afternoon when I start to feel like I need a boost. It has replaced sugary treats as my new go-to snack, and my waistline is definitely thanking me for it!
