I love summer in England. It’s my favourite day of the year. But I hate to see people queuing up to buy bland, pre-packaged, overpriced burgers . A hot summer in England is special, it’s definitely worth a little effort to create something befitting of the occasion; a BBQ classic that isn’t just insanely delicious, but actually not that bad for you.
I’m going to give you my never-fail burger recipe as well as sharing with you the secrets to making the easiest, tastiest burger in the world (possibly).
here's what you'll need...
For the burgers:
- 500g beef mince
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
For the toppings:
Whatever you want! I used Edam cheese slices, sliced red onions, sliced plum tomatoes and lots of streaky bacon (I also snuck a free-range egg into there as well).
