Nothing says ‘I love you’ more than a handmade card. And you don’’t have to be a crafting guru to whip something up that will look personal but professional. Here are 5 simple ideas that will be sure to impress your other half this Valentine’s Day.

Card Onevalentines1_blog02

You will need…

  • A blank card
  • Confetti or make your own
  • Cellophane plastic pocket (like the ones cards come in)
  • Pink pen
  • Craft knife

First you need a circle template. Either find something round to draw around, or google ‘circle shape’ to find one you can print out, cut out the circle, and use this as a template to draw around on your card. Next, using your scalpel, cut out the circle. Fill your plastic pocket with confetti and tape it to the inside cover of the card. Cover the taped area by gluing on another piece of card. Hand-write a loving message in pink pen.
