DIY: Cement Planter
Making your own concrete planters for indoor and outdoor use has never been simpler using this DIY tutorial.
Planters are made using a small container and a large container and you could create your own mould from cardboard packaging, milk cartons or practically anything that’s lying about in your recycling bin. Try experimenting with different shapes and sizes or use bright colours when decorating to bring a pop of colour into your home.
Here's what you'll need and how it's done...
- 5kg cement/ mortar
- Water
- Stirring stick
- Bowl (that you don’t need or use a box / bucket)
- 4 fibre or polystyrene pots (can use cups or
- containers)
- 4 smaller pots
- Scissors
To decorate:
- Masking tape
- Gold spray
- White paint
