Apart from slightly slow pairing with the bridge unit, installation was relatively straightforward. Instructions provided was good. There is a £2.99 per month subscription to use the full functionality, which include auto away (geofencing), open window detection.

Product was as expected although allot of problems with DFD delivering the product, it took two weeks to actually arrive. Please consider an alternative logistics company.

Thermostat is very easy to install since I do not have separate hot water tank. Wire provided with internet bridge is too short, i had to use my spare ethernet and micro USB cable. Mobile application could have been better as there is no easy way to turn heating on/off in case you need to. Smart schedule works like a charm. Display doesn't stay on so you do not know what temperature is set to, only way to check is either pressing button on Thermostat or use mobile application. Geofencing / open window detection option is chargeable so I have not subscribed for it hence not sure about functionality.

A good product at a good price which arrived in good time

Product is okay but delivery is quick. It arrived in 48 hours after order. Tado customer service is bit lousy but AO.com is fantastic place to buy good products.

Easy self installation although I had to wait for the tado team to write some customised instructions for my unusual boiler and thermostat combination. Look forward to seeing some fuel savings soon!
