Good so far. Lifted lot of muck out of dirty carpets on first pass with warm water but no detergent.

The Rug Doctor is doing all that we expected from it. It has cleaned one area of carpeting and a rug so far; there is lots more to do over the coming weeks. Some of the carpet stains had been there a looong while, but the Rug Doctor cleaned them all. The initial supply of cleaner is soon used so you will need to buy more if you have a big area to clean.

Stunned by how dirty the water was from what I believed was a relatively clean carpet. the whole room just seems fresher. As it takes very little time to go over a whole carpet, I shall probably be using this machine at least once a month.; Highly recommended.

The cleaner was delivered last week but due to the recent weather and having a dog which brings in the dirt after a walk I have not taken the opportunity to use the item yet. I bought this cleaner because of the review ratings and because Rug Doctor is such a well known reliable brand. The cleaner seams robust and more than adequate to clean the carpets when the weather improves. It is also suitable for my 6'3" height which will reduce strain on my back during use.
