Are you looking for a clever and beautiful way to light and heat your favourite rooms? Well, I have found the perfect solution. The BeModern gives me everything I needed to make my fireplace look amazing, but also to give that heat when needed. Having the ability to customise the flame in both intensity but also in the actual flame appearance was a really nice touch. This accompanied by the LED mood lighting was even better as it allowed me to change the feel of the room when I wanted. Scheduling on the remote was super easy to do, saving me time and also money when it comes to heating bills. The remote too, well this remote is fully loaded! Back lit, easy to use, and it also understands the room temperature so you can really ensure the heating is used efficiently. If you're looking for a fire and want something special, check it out.

We are upgrading our home heating system, outgoing in a few weeks time will be the old gas back boiler with gas fire front. But we would still need a backup heating source for the lounge room if required. We also wanted a feature point for the room. We had looked at many electric fire with feature flames..... But none seem just right for us. This being able to fix on to the wall, and of the right width and length to enhance the chimney breast. By luck we were surfing the net for ideals in readiness to purchase once the old back boiler had been taken out. The BeModern Amari 148768 fire stood out. We like the fact it had 13 backlights of different colours (for mood effect) with 5 brightness setting, different flame settings, a 1KW & “KW fan heater. The white pebbles add a nice additional to the style frontage and all can be controlled by remote. The purchase price had been reduced part of the January deals, and other outlets were £75 to £110 more. We took the risk and order on line (normally for me to find a showroom to view before purchasing such items ( me being old school at 73 yrs) The fire arrive within a few days, because this fire comes with a stand, we unpack it to make sure all was working and stood it against another wall. It was outstanding and we are over moon the effects of the light setting make this an outstanding focal point for any lounge. Love, love, love this fire! Love the different back light settings and the flames are mesmerising We haven't used the heat facility as yet, did turn it on, think it may be a little noisy, but we bought it mainly for the ambiance of a fire in the living room.

Decided to splash out on this fire after our last - smaller - stove-effect electric fire stopped working. This amari fire is much wider, but just about fits in our fireplace. We really like the contemporary look, and the different fire and light effects you can set are great. Unfortunately, despite online descriptions leading us to believe that the fire's fan runs nearly silently, it is actually quite noisy, with lots of vibrations from the metal and glass housing. I am hoping that i can improve this by refitting the front panel, but it is a shame that quite a costly fire can't be quieter than cheaper models. Considering that it had a 2kw output the fire also seems to generate less heat than our previous, less powerful fan heater.

We decided to change from gas to electric and wanted a modern fire. This one is very stylish and looks lovely when turned on, with a variety of changing colour surrounding lights. The fan is not too loud and It was a good price. We are very pleased with it.

Easy to instal, now fitted on th wall making it a stunning feature of the room. The remote is great just can't make my mind up on which background light to choose they are all so nice. Very pleased with my purchase.

For the price this item is brilliant. It has a range of colours for the background and it heats a room up super quick. The lighting effects can be switched on without the heater being on so it creates a nice atmosphere. Only down side as to why 4 stars and not 5 is that the flame effect doesn't seem to change when rotating through them. And it's not the quietest of heaters but that's only due to the fan. Overall really impressed with the item and very much looking forward to using it.
