I have had this around a week now and am very pleased with it. The build of the base is solid and the motor is guaranteed for 30 years by Magimax. The machine is small and neat but the base is very heavy so it sits solidly in use. The double bowl idea is pure genius. The smaller bowl sits inside the main one. so you can make icing in the small bowl. Set it aside, and then use the main bowl to make the cake batter. It slices and grates well. It sliced up all the peppers and onion I needed for the family curry. I like the neat box where you can keep most of the accessories. I don't understand what the mixing ring does as the instructions are mostly pictorial and this piece of kit doesn't seem to make any difference to the performance. The only thing that I couldn't get it to do properly was to whip egg whites but it may be my technique which is still lacking. It is compact in size but big enough to make a cake in. I gave it four stars rather than five as the 2 bowls seem a little flimsy compared to the base. However, it is an all-round useful machine.

The item seems to work well and does all it claims to do. The advert is confusing as it demonstrates a different better model not the one sold and the information on how to put the correct components together are minimal. I am an engineer and it took me a little while to work out how to remove the blades from the tall post and install the chopper blades etc. This is the only reason I would give this unit 4 as functionally it is fine.

Brilliant food processor. Does everything I need it to even though it's small. If you're looking for a food processor but don't want a great big one, this is perfect. Same build as larger one. Can't go wrong with Magimix
