Not great

Just received . Initially disappointed -flimsy compared to previous grill. Recommends not to position it near cupboards or curtains. Very short feet therefore needs to stand on heat resistant surface. No on/off switch therefore can only be operated from switch on wall or by plugging and unplugging Very short cable. So where you can put it is limited, it has to be positioned close to a switched plug on a heat resistant work top saver or surface away from cupboards. It gets very hot and oven gloves are recommended during use. Have not used it yet, just hope heat resistant worktop saver is up to it and the cupboards are far enough away.

Bought this just over a week ago to replace my 12 year old one that stopped heating up properly. Thought I had gone for the same size but really happy to find it was a little larger, so much so that I can get three cheese toasties side by side without touching.Took a few minutes to heat up with the usual red & green lights to let you know when it is ready for your food. As it was heating up it did give of an odour, not unexpected, which disappeared quickly. It has a more streamlined shape than my previous one and though a little wider seems to sit lower on the counter. Feels like the non stick coating has improved from my old one too. Once I start using it properly for bacon and sausages and the like I'm going to really enjoy getting up on a Saturday morning to make breakfast. I think it would easily have room for 4 - 6 chicken breasts or 3 if you butterfly them (Would also cook them quicker) Early days but think I'm going to be happy with my newer, sleeker George Foreman Large Fit Grill.

Great griddle plenty of room fit a whole chicken
