I'm in love with this laptop! To make it clear, the lack of 5 stars is entirely down to the weight when using it in tablet mode and the lack of a stylus, while last years model came with one bundled. This design is spot-on. We have the Midnight Black version but in reality its the deepest, deepest aubergine colour on the outside and a little lighter on the inside. Its all metal with stiff rubber bolsters to protect the base on a table and the screen when closed The screen is touted as bezel-less and it nearly is, the visible space is almost maximised, while they've left enough border so you can hold onto the product in tablet mode, which you can toggle manually and makes everything on screen much "obvious" to access as its very phone(tablet)-like. It basically recognises the removal of keyboard inputs so everything on screen works as such, the on-screen keyboard pops up etc. Id recommend buying a stylus to use for that too and it is very compact. The keyboard has generous keys and all the shortcuts of a full keyboard, lacking the number-pad in order to maximise the rest. These keys are flat and backlit. Its very comfortable to use and set far back enough that your wrists can be rested either side of the touchpad for prolonged typing. Windows 10 is exactly what you'd expect for 2020. Simple and intuitive. The refinements of the most recent update have given us what is basically XP with a much more modern skin and newer features. Its finally what users have been waiting for. I think the pricing is amazing for what you get. The Ryzen 5 processor has grunt! I've already done a few renders in AfterEffects than ran H.265 and even 4K in a very respectable time - when doing heavy work, do be aware that the usually silent fans will kick up a notch but still aren't annoyingly loud. I would have preferred for the 8GB DDR4 RAM to be upgrade-able just for future-proofing, but this laptop is fully capable of all the video, design work and photography that me and my girlfriend do. Of course, you could pay more for even better, but on a conservative budget, this is the perfect laptop for you. Its not *cheap, but for a little less, you'd do a LOT worse.

It's a great looking and performing laptop for the price. Screen is good and so is the keyboard. The only thing that perhaps lets it down a little bit is the max audio volume which is slightly on the low side compared to my previous surface laptop and matebook X. However audio quality is very good, clear and balanced. All in all, certainly the best option for the money, and it even compares favourably to laptops that cost twice as much.

I love this small laptop. Easy to set up, the backlit keyboard is a great asset, being able to turn off the camera is also good. The finger print recognition is sometimes hit and miss, but no great problem as you just put in a pin which you also decide when setting up. The 360° hinge is great in this Covid virtual era of meetings whether professional or for family chats, as it stands easily. I generally use it in laptop mode but if you like a tablet you can use that mode too, the touch screen is very good. I am really pleased I purchased it, I haven't come across anything I don't like!

Only received today, so just a quick review with my initial thoughts. The laptop is lovely and compact and a nice weight. The video and sound are fantastic, expected the sound to be good with a Bang & Olufsen setup. Key board is light to the touch and very responsive along with the back lights, makes for a pleasant typing experience. I was disappointed that there wasn't a stylus pen, for the money I think a basic pen should have been included. Removed MacAfee straight away, it now runs much smoother and obviously faster. Annoyed that this was preinstalled and not optional. MacAfee is a pain to remove unless you know what you're doing, thankfully my other half does. After that garbage was removed, Windows updated with no issues, and the app updates were a breeze too. Also removed a trial of ExpressVPN, yet another peace of software forced upon us due to a deal they have with HP. Would love to give it 5 stars, but it has to lose 1 due to the lack of a stylus pen and MacAfee.

Good product, perfect for simple day to day needs. Has the ergonomic feel of a larger laptop but keeps the sleek design.

The laptop itself was great, it does everything i need it to do. Battery life is good and it charges up fast. The H part of the logo on the back was slightly peeled off, so i rang up and they sorted it out for me too!

Well I've this little beauty a few days now and am in love! The keyboard is brilliant, spaced just right so can I get an impressive speed up when necessary, has all the right buttons and the fingerprint sensor is great (although very occasionally it has asked me for my pin or to clean the sensor), the backlighting works well and is great in low light situations, is easily turned on and the brightness adjusted. The touchscreen and the option to use in tablet mode when folded over makes this machine so versatile and easy to use, and the display rotates automatically which I also love. Also start-up speed is impressive - from off to all booted up and logged in takes only 18 secs - so all in all I am one happy bunny!

I love this laptop. It's great for students who only need a small laptop and is really easy to carry in most backpacks or bags to college / university. The 2 in 1 feature of this laptop works really well and is perfect for taking notes either with the pen or by typing (the keyboard is one of the nicest feeling keyboards I have tried). Again, I love the laptop, as it has all the features I need and runs very smoothly throughout the day with little drainage of the battery.
