A great compact carpet cleaner, it fits in my under sink cupboard. I used it to remove two old stains on my living room carpet, it worked wonderfully. My only disappointment is with the power of the suction but this doesn't seem to alter its ability to clean just means you have to let the area of carpet dry for a little longer.

I am very impressed by the compact design of the Bissell Spot cleaner, neat and lightweight and so easy to use. With excellent results of cleaning small areas . I found it a bit awkward to use when I tried it on stairs as the water hose isn’t particularly long so you are moving it on every step. I found the same problem when cleaning the car but hey the results were Spot On !!!

We have a couple of cats, one of which has a tendency to pee on the landing carpet. We therefore wanted something to help clean up these incidents and this seems to be just the job. The unit comes with clear instructions and is easy to fill and operate. It's quite loud, which is a shame, but for the size that's to be expected. There are some nice touches like the holes in the clip for the nozzle so the trigger is secured when not in use and the top part of the cable loop struts rotating down so you can easily release the cable to plug it in. Plus a good long cable is attached. Filling the tank with warm tap water and then the cleaning solution is easy enough although a funnel may be needed to avoid spills if you're still half asleep! It comes with a small sampler of a basic cleaner fluid and a decent container of the oxy booster. We've just bought a container of the pet-specific cleaner fluid and after the first use of that one of the cats (albeit not the one who soils the carpet) now jumps over the area we cleaned. But so far no repeat incidents. But even if it hasn't solved the problem, it's a sight easier to fill and use this than running through a load of kitchen roll trying to blot-up the worst of the mess and then saturating the area with a spray to try to sort the remainder. Can't speak to other spillage cleaning at this point but seems like a must-have for any household with pets.

Easy to use, did the job. Cleaned a 6’ x 4’ rug in approx 25 mins, with one refill. It was done early evening and dry by the morning. Awkward to refill if you only need a small amount, difficult to gauge the ratio of cleaner to water without using the ‘fill’ lines.

Spllled black tea on a 4 day old carpet 80% wool After soaking up with paper towels used a wool safe spray and let it soak for 10 mins, used the recommended products in the water tank and after 4-5 mins using this wonderful machine the carpet was like new. It left the carpet slightly damp but when it dried the area was as good as new

The compact carpet wash is perfect for the job we bought it for (the stairs)!!!! The only carpet in the house, the little wash/vac, cleans really well and easily goes up and down the stairs, and small enough to sit on the steps as you go. Really light to, great quality cleaner. I highly reccommend this to all customers who need the occassional clean of small areas. After use it tucks away in any small corner you have in a cupboard. Great job AO.Com

Excellent product. Very versatile, used on carpet and upholstery. Easy to use. Long power cable and long hose on carpet cleaner, makes it easy to use in hard to reach areas.
