It feels noticeable inferior than basic Samsung QLED from 2018. Not bight to watch HDR, has dithering problems with HDR devices like PC or Media Player when connected to HDMI 2.1 or 2.0 regardless. Here are are reviews on RTINGS. Chesck US 5-series discounted in US in 2022 version ot his TV I've bought it cheap with price match and excellent service from AO. Can't complain. I think maybe it makes more sense to buy branded bright traditional LCD TV than this TCL.

A lovely picture for the price. A little slow changing from tv to player. And not as good a picture as my OLED for gaming.

The television is very good for the price, good picture quality, sound quality is good, sometimes it is a bit slow to react when using channels like itvx or bbci player and remote is a bit fiddly, but overall a good TV for the money

Great picture. Cheap. Lots of inbuilt aps, and being an android TV, you can download extra ones without need a Firestick (or other). Only minor criticism is that the software is a touch sluggish at times.
