Researched and recommended by brother in law. He chose this product for combination of technology and price point. Picture quality is outstanding. Set up was simple including adjusting sky picture settings on Sky Box. Upgraded patch cables from sky box and router. The instructions recommend taking extreme care when unpacking and mounting to stand - this was valuable advice.

I was looking for the best 50inch TV for the price and after much consideration between this and various OLED TVs and a Samsung Mini LED I ended up going with the cheap option (this TCL) and well I’m not disappointed it’s a really good TV and at this price you can’t go wrong, the display is stunning the colours and blacks are extremely good for a mid range TV sure it might not be quite and OLED but it’s definitely up there and could very much compete with TVs over £1000! If I was going to pick out anything that’s been disappointing is that in the box TCL is offering something (I believe a Roku stick) to overcome the fact that iPlayer and a few others are missing from Google TV but after messaging them a couple of weeks ago I’ve heard nothing which is disappointing.

Turns on quickly, has a nice color pallet and the features are easy to navigate. Was also easy to set up and to connect to my phone. Definitely what I was looking for to use my console with. The quick delivery up into my flat was another plus.

As good as anything that is rated top of the range. I'm very impressed by the quality for the price. Very satisfied.

I've only had the TV a day, It looks really good and I bought it for the gaming features and it looks fantastic with a decent input, but I feel its worth others knowing that the TV itself cannot run the apps for iplayer / channel4 / freeview or itvx apparently because it is not certified to run iplayer. Yea you can get an external device such as firestick, it's just a bit annoying.

A great product at the price. Good stylish build, very good picture, and decent sound. Also generally good functionality (including eArc output - important for me as I have a quality soundbar). The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that some elements of the control and menu system are a bit complicated and clunky to use (admittedly this may be true of most modern TVs).

Cannot fault this television, colours are vibrant and the graphics are absolutely superb. You honestly feel subverted in whatever content you are enjoying. 5 stars all round, I just hope that it lasts

Excellent TV, love the detail in picture quality, iplayer can be sideloaded on to tv, so not an issue. Mini LED give excellent colour depth, image is sharp and shine which watching 4k treaming services like netflix, you will also notice dolby atos and vision switch on automatically. Image is also has a high flexabilty to tune to your taste, without loosing picture quality. I personally don't believe a samsung mini LED tv is worth twice the price. I also liking the center foot stand which hides cables. Overall i believe this tv to be the benchmark at its given price point. Sound is also deep, good for utube music etc. The only app i not manged to get working is ITVX, but possible this might chage with future update, but have manage to get iplayer working (via sideload).
