Great TV

The Philips Ambilight is a great product and you won’t regret buying it. The outgoing TV was a 4K Panasonic and the difference in quality is chalk and cheese. The upscaling from this TV is amazing giving a superb picture quality in all situations.

Not easy to set up but a great TV

After searching around for a month or so iI finally landed my eyes on this TV and I'm glad I did. The picture is amazing, the sound is excellent and the amberlight just enhances the overall viewing. We watch movies quite regularly with the current covid situations and this TV makes them a pleasure to watch. I am still having trouble setting up the Alexa feature and the Internet connection but apart from that I highly recommend this TV. I'm sure these problems are down to something I'm not doing correctly but I would recommend phillips to have a troubleshooting menu on the TV itself. Overall I gave it 4 stars due to it not being simple to set up but at this time I don't regret buying it and I'm sure I will figure it out eventually.

A Great buy

The image is fantastic, the ambilight really sets it off. Fits well into a corner of the room and lights up a dark room very well. The only downside is that it runs a Linux based operating system instead of Android. This limits the amount of apps that cab be downloaded.

OLED at a good price

Always wanted an OLED TV but this is the first time the price has dropped to an acceptable level to get the best TV format. It covers all the picture broadcast formats so is future proofed reasonably well for whatever input you want to throw at it. 1 week into it's use and it's the Ambilight that I really like. Yes it should seemingly be deemed a gimmick but it is really cool and I find myself watching it almost as much as the screen. Very happy with the purchase.

Does the iob

Had to tweak the settings to get a good image on the non-HD channels but once that was sorted was very happy. Ambient light feature is also quite nice when watching movies.

So far so good

Service from AO was spot on, drivers were friendly and delivered carefully. TV itself seems great so far, there a lot of settings , so still trying to work out the best ones, but Ambilight is impressive , picture is awesome and the sound is pretty good too for built in. TV looks really slick , very pleased for it so far.

Excellent quality and the LED really does my the experience immersive

great so far

Really enjoying the first week with the 55OLED754; noticeable improvement on our previous LCD; some reviews have found the interface to be cumbersome but I have found it perfectly fine. Only point is the lack of screensaver options - have written to Philips who responded saying there would be a software update on the way - looking forward to this!
