Do not buy

2/5
I have had 3 of these tvs now. As it has some sort of white clouding the third one has the same issue. I am waitting for a Philips tech to come out and hopefully fix it. All I got offered as a sorry was 15 of the purchase. What a joke. Last time I'm shopping with ao.

Ambilight is amazing

3/5
The TV is very good especially the ambilight. Just a shame it has alot of backlight bleed.

Philips Smart Ambilight

3/5
Great size, picture quality (- the below issue) and sound. The ambilight looks fantastic. Only problem is there is some major backlight bleeding (from the moment we turned the tv on) which really affects the picture and is really obvious especially when watching movies (where there’s the black strip top and bottom). Not sure if faulty product or common issue.

A Reasonable TB

The TV technically doesn't have anything wrong with it but I found the picture and sound not quite as good as I was hoping for.

Depends

3/5
for the Money it’s a good tv, though the sound is appalling. I’ve bought a sound bar which instantly improves the experience. My screen has some led bleed around the edges and some clouding on dark scenes. I can’t quite achieve the image I’m looking for. It’s not a bad picture but I feel my older LG has a more pleasing picture. But perhaps it’s because this one is crisper. It’s certainly a very good quality screen, I’m just very picky. Ambilight is nice. And the many options to tune all the variables are plenty. Though no nowtv app is very disappointing, as is the lack of a manual eq. For the money the screen / picture is excellent though I feel I prefer LG screens. The sound is awful, but a sound bar fixes that. I’m picky about this kind of thing. The general user will be pleased but a sound bar is a must.

Love the ambilight but sound out of sync

3/5
The tv and picture is great but it is constantly out of sync with the sound on hd channels. Philips gives some advice online how to deal with this as apparently it is a common issue (never saw any of this in all the reviews I looked at before purchasing but if you google it specifically lots of people with this issue. The advice on how to rectify it does not work for us. Gutted as live the tv and wanted to but the 75” for our sitting room but this won’t be happening now!! Just be aware for his issue before purchasing.

Great tv for the money

Really like the remote especially the Netflix button. Picture is good enough considering the price. I can’t comment on the sound as the tv is in a large unfurnished room so it’s echoey. I absolutely love the ambilight feature. Overall I am really happy with my purchase. If you are super techy you may want to spend a little more

Mostly Great

Picture, sound quality and ambilight are amazing. Only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the slow turn on time and occasional delay from the remote
