Very good for the price, love the ambilight

This is now our second ambilight TV and we love it. It's very quick to set up and start watching.

Tv is great, really good picture quality. Works brilliantly with my ps5 and the controller is very easy to use which is actually a huge relief compared to my last tv remote which required brute force to even switch channels! Would be nice to have now tv available on it but that can come though the PlayStation so wasn’t a deal breaker.

The backlight are a really nice feature, and initially I was really pleased with my purchase but the performance of the TV is really poor at times. Within a few days, I started experiencing significant lag between the input on the remote and the TV responding. For instance it would take 50-60 seconds to register an input, which meant it could take a couple of minutes to change from TV to HDMI, or would cause issues simply changing the channel. Having read a number of reviews online since, it seems to be a possible issue with this model. This went away when I turned the TV off and back on at the mains, but happened more than once. The other thing is the user experience isn’t as good as other brands. It’s just not as intuitive or straight forwards to move between modes, etc. I sent mine back and exchanged for a Samsung. Even though the replacement doesn’t come with the backlights, it’s a far better product and experience.

Can be a bit slow on turning on and have to reset it now and then but a brilliant TV from Philips a really good picture sound and lights.

Amazing! Love this Tv! The ambilight is a brilliant feature and makes watching the screen easier on the eyes. It also makes the viewing area seem bigger. The Tv has many great features. I already have a smaller Philips ambilight Tv which I have had for several years in my bedroom, so didn't hesitate when choosing a new Tv to replace my lounge Tv. Would highly recommend.
