Enamel failure

1/5
After 12 weeks of use small circular spots of enamel 1-2 mm came off around the top of the kettle . The kettle still works fine and therefore kitchen aid ( whirlpool appliances) have declined to accept any liability under warranty saying the cover does not include the cosmetic finish

Better than the painted variety

4/5
I have previously purchased this kettle in the painted variety so there weren’t really any surprises. We live in a hard water area and this kettle seems to need descaling more than other alternatives. I have switched to the stainless steel kettle this time as we had limescale previously build up around the lid and due to the painted nature of the kettle you couldn’t clean it without it damaging/scratching off pain from the kettle. Hopefully this won’t be a problem with this one even though it is the same design as there is no pain to scratch off.

Gorgeous

4/5
We are just getting ready to move into our new house and bought this kettle for our new kitchen. Love the look of it and it feels good and sturdy. It is a shame it doesn’t have a water level on the kettle but it is just big enough for me and my partner. Great service from AO as well. Love it!

Good product, good service. The kettle is a bit noisy but not too bad.

Nice looking kettle, well built, but expensive

4/5
Mostly happy with this kettle. It's well built and feels like it's going to last. It's quite expensive for what it is - doesn't boil particular quickly. Good for getting it under the tap when there is a bowl of washing in the sink! Limescale filter doesn't work particularly well though, so I'm using filtered water in it now.

Very nice kettle but a bit small . Maybe for a couple of people. You would be better buying the jug version for a larger family.

Fabulous looking kettle

I love the look of this kettle but if you’re used to a large capacity and quick boil this probably isn’t the kettle for you. I think I preferred my Russell Hobbs kettle which is still going strong after 18 years.

Nice kettle

4/5
I chose this kettle because it didn't have a plastic fill indicator which failed on my previous kettle. As this is made from one piece of stainless steel I expect it to last. It is 1.5l capacity - which makes the kettle look small, but it is more than big enough for 4-5 cups of tea and it fits on the counter perfectly and unobtrusively. The good: - Solid handle (which is aluminium to keep cool - it does!). - Comfortable to pour. - It looks good. The bad: It is a shame that the metal limescale filter is clipped on by plastic - I wish it was all stainless steel inside for longevity and to avoid health issues associated with plastic.
