    Beware FREELY NOT PRE INSTALLED

    1/5
Freely is NOT pre installed. I have contacted Toshiba and they can't help. There is no way to download it. It also doesn't have Freesat, which is stated in the specification advertised on here. I will have to buy a Freesat set top box to try and rectify this. Complete waste of money.

    Disappointed

    1/5
Really disappointed as image nowhere near as sharp as our previous TV (which was 4 years old and a Hitachi). Noticeably poorer quality in this Toshiba. Missing NOW TV off the TV apps so still had to use old Firestick, but quality wise, this is a cheap TV. Recommend choosing another brand if you’re looking for a decent large TV.

    65 inch Toshiba tv

It seems to be fine, I was expecting better picture quality to be honest. Unfortunately i need a firestick as it does not support and can not download Disney plus and now tv for my sports

Great if you don’t need the Freely app

    3/5
Pleased with the picture, sound and build quality. The remote control is well designed and pretty robust too. Would have been five stars if Toshiba had managed to fix their software build. I received two TVs missing the Freely app, which was the main purpose of my purchase.

Does as it says on the tin

    4/5
Does as it says on the tin. The screws for wall mounting make it awkward if you already have a mount in place as they are very low on the tv. Power cord is never long enough but I have that issue with every tv.

Freely poor picture versus co-ax aerial

    4/5
TV has great picture and good sound at a cracking price! My only jibe with it, and I believe this is the case with all the new "Freely" TV's, is this. The TV tuned in 147 channels , via my standard co-ax aerial socket, and the HD picture is stunning, for example on BBC1, channel 101 Freeview HD. However, after this in the set up process - very easy - you connect to your wi-fi and the TV loads Freely and all the other Smart Apps . And here's the rub. Freely takes president over your TV channel list and now, your co-ax aerial list is no longer available. The TV adds the aerial channels that Freely does not have, but you can not directly access the aerial stored channel list. This means 2 things. Firstly, that your standard Freeview channel numbers in your TV paper no longer apply to most Freely channels. And secondly, my main gripe, is that you can only watch the HD channels with Freely as the source. Why is this a problem? Our Broadband speed is not to clever, and this of course effects the picture quality on the TV. If I could select "Aerial" as the source - like you do for HDMI1, HDMI2 etc etc - then I could watch in 4K UHD, and it IS a SUPERB picture, trust me....but because Freely rules the channels, you have to watch the Freely supplied picture, which is no where near as good!! This is particularly frustrating when you know that your new TV does have a fantastic picture, but you can't access this!! I am guessing if you have ultra fast broadband, the picture will be ok, but not many folk do, hence my gripe.

Great value for money (I think!)

    4/5
I am delighted with the price of this product, it is tremendous value for money. The picture quality is exceptionall good and the sound also. However, there has been a problem with the on/off switch on the TV. If I turn off the TV with the remote it goes off and then 4-5 seconds later it turns back on. The manual on/off button is not functional and a repair has been arranged. If they fix the problem I will be happy to add that extra star, despite the inconveniences.
