I wouldn't recommend this oven its quite cheaply made and the glass on the front lower oven spontaniously smashed while it wasnt even on! Amica werent much help replacing the glass as it was 2 months out of warranty which was pretty poor. They wanted almost a third of the cost to the oven replace the glass door! Avoid

    Dangerous fault

Further to my previous review, we now have a further issue - and a safety issue - as we only have the top oven for the next two weeks after the main oven door fell off - now the grill keeps coming on while using the oven, so food is either burning or catching fire (manual safety warning - do not operate the grill with the door shut!) Fantastic. Can’t wait to get shot of this oven.

    Poor quality oven

Not great - ordered this oven as the one I wanted was out of stock for weeks & despite costing more it actually looked quite cheap when it arrived. After a couple of weeks as other reviews have said it was starting to get difficult to keep the hob looking nice (was easily scratched) and two weeks to the day as I was putting something into the main oven, the door came right off in my hand! The pins to hold the door on were tiny and did t look anything up to the job. Really disappointed in it. AO did deal with it promptly and whilst speaking to Amica on a conference call stepped in when I said I wanted it exchanged for a different brand oven as it didn’t seem very good quality at all. I have exchanged for a HOTPOINT, although need to wait 3wks for delivery with connection. Not a great oven at all in my opinion, fingers crossed the HOTPOINT one is better quality

    Just don't. Buy anything else.

Save yourself a whole world of stress and buy something else. We have had this cooker since Feb and it's already had a new thermostat and has now broken again (doesn't heat to correct temperature and therefore doesn't cook anything in a timely fashion). And to add insult to injury, AO don't deal with it themselves, you have to go to Amica direct... and after huge hold times go back to AO to ask them to help you sort it out. Buy something else. Save yourself a lot of stress and uncooked food.

    Faulty oven

Product faulty. The unit appears to have faulty seals with the oven struggling to get up to temperature and large amounts of water pooling over the rear and underneath the unit whenever we attempt to cook anything in it. I’d spend the extra money and buy a reputable brand.
