    Appliance features

    5/5
Excellent appliance, I have had two of these ovens - this one replaces one of them, the cooking features (fish, meat, cakes, pastry etc) are very good and produces excellent results. The pyro cleaning function is especially good keeping appliance clean and fresh, saves time without the need of using harsh chemicals, thus helping save the environment.

    Dissapointed

I have had this appliance for less than 2 years. It is smart looking and sounds great with its 6th sense functions. Sounds like it should be a breeze to use. That is not the case . The Handbook is very poor. Lots of Trial and error, even yet some basic meals cause an issue for example it doesn't get any more basic than Chicken Kievs and oven chips but even on the multi shelf cooking setting it is damn near impossible to get the chips browned. The pizza function is ok usually needs extra time. The setting for keeping things warm leaves things less than warm and has no ability to increase the temp from 65 degrees. Now after a little over 19 Months, it has developed a metallic fan rattle when the fan cuts off obviously this isn't ideal and sign of a fault. that takes me to the warranty. loads of warranty documents sent through but none with a Uk warranty number to call which in hindsight led me to not call up for the free 2 year warranty my mistake I foolishly expected to get more than a couple of years without it developing a fault. So now I either pay £160 for the engineer or take out a 12month plan, so that has been an expensive lesson. This is the first Oven I have bought that wasn't a basic fan oven.It is also the first oven that has lasted less than 5 years without developing a fault. Most ovens I have changed as the decals had come off.A selling point for this purchase. So honestly with the warranty issue poor handbook instructions and its inability to last more than 2 years i will probably steer clear of whirlpool when replacing

    Great all rounder!

We love it! It has many useful functions, the fast preheat and smart cooking functions with timer and end time set (you can set the oven and go out so dinner is ready when you are back) are an absolute winner! It is pretty quiet and for a baker like me the proofing function is also pretty handy! One thing I wish was different was that when I put it on gays preheat I need to stop the oven so I can change to another cooking mode but a pretty small niggle all things considered! Definitely recommend ?? Ps. Haven't tried the pyrolitic cleaning yet but hoping that would come in handy!
