I must confess, I have been a big fan of the most popular vacuum brands in the world since I got one many many moons ago. So much so that everytime I've had to replace a vacuum (there haven't been many such occasions), I've just gone with the same brand forever. Since they stopped doing normal corded vacuums (there's one or two in the market now - not much choice), my de facto choice was to move to the same brand cordless vacuums. But the problem with the cordless ones is the battery - they don't last as long, especially when you want to do the whole house in one go. It'll do one floor just fine - but three floors and two set of staircases is just not happening. And so I bit the bullet and bought another one of the same brand just weeks ago, and its just fine. And then the opportunity came up to try the AEG - and I had to give it a go. Now I have 3 cordless vacuums, one on each floor, with AEG on the graound floor with the most footfall. So do I like it - yes, I absolutely love it. It makes vacuuming a breeze. Its got very powerful suction that works wonders on hard floors (not so much on carpets though). But since my ground floor has the kitchen, living room and a large hallway which are carpet free, the AEG 8000 series works like a treat. On a single charge it will do the whole ground floor and will have plenty of battery left for me to do the staircase. Not much of an issue with the pet hairs either (we have 2 cats), sucks them in easily. It is also asthetically very pleasing - the white and black colours go well with the white walls of the house and the soft edges and blunt shape makes it easily blend in with the surroundings. Oh, and the light is a bonus!

As the title says this is for those that constantly have to switch plugs to use their vacuum cleaner, no tripping , no hazards and no wasting time trying to switch it on just pick up and turn on This product is so portable that you can put it in parts and fit in your backpack and use it anywhere, The first time I used it I thought it wouldn't have enough suction like some other brands I used before but my god it's a sucking machine, it can clean your dusty and dirty carpets in no time thanks to the brush motor and love that you can also choose the suction power I always used to be scared to put the vacuum on at night as it's like a jet engine but I had no complaints so far can silently use at night to do quick clean ups The only thing I hate about this product is the short running time wish it had a bigger battery plus the cost was too high I'm scared that one day the battery dies and have to buy a new expensive one, And also the charging stand attaching to hoover would be difficult for those that are elderly or have no experience of wall mounting. Wish it was direct charging. Overall good machine great suction for being portable and plenty of info displayed. The set up manual was full of pictures would love wording as well, will submit photos later

The vaccum cleaner is very light, which I confused initially as not having a strong suction. I am pleased to report that the suction is absolutely fine. Here's my bullet points: Pro's: - convenient charging Dock. - good suction power. - good battery capacity. - magnetic dust compartment is very nice! - build quality feels very sturdy. The attachments have a nice click when attaching them. Cons: - emptying the dust compartment isn't as easy as other brands. - not the cheapest cordless vacuum

Pros - Great sustainability packaging in the box and easy to unbox. - You can purchase more accessories if you need them. - Amazing performance with auto suction adjustment depending of which floor you are using. - 60 minute battery life - Easy to assemble, no instructions needed Cons - Quite a small storage bin for a big handheld - Only wall mount option provided. No way of self standing without leaning against a door - Can be fiddly disconnecting pipe/ bin on first couple of tries. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone living in a small apartment or houseshare

I've had another well-known vacuum brand since 2007; it was refurbished when I bought it but has served me well. However, it's huge, takes up a lot of space, and the model is nearly 18 years old! Living with a house rabbit also means frequent vacuuming due to fluff, straw and hay...it's not his fault. A hand-held vacuum has made sense for a long time, and after finally making the commitment, I wouldn't go back. The AEG 8000 is so easy to pull out from the cupboard for a quick tidy-up, which means you end up vacuuming more often because it's not a pain to get out. So instead of once a week, it's become daily, or every other day! Unboxing was easy, and it went together with no problem; using it for the first time on a small patch of carpet that – to the eye – looked spotless, wow. The amount it picked up was quite amazing. Even if your carpet looks clean, the AEG 8000 somehow sucks stuff up from the depths below. You can only charge it by fixing it onto the wall mount, which may not work for everyone and means the vacuum sticks out a little from the wall. But in a cupboard with power, it's okay. It would be nice to have the option like a cordless drill where you could just charge the battery pack on its own. Also, the nozzles are rectangular, so one thing I found a faff was vacuum seal bags. It works, but it's not ideal as you feel like you're forcing the nozzle onto something that just won't fit. It would also be nice if it came with a few more accessories. Unfortunately, in standard form, it's only ideal for carpets; you have to buy a car kit to get in all the nooks and crannies in a vehicle, something most uprights just come with as standard. For a two-bed house, this is all the vacuum you could ever need; it makes me wonder why I kept my massive old upright for so long. The AEG 8000 will definitely replace it.

It is the most powerful vacuum cleaner I have ever had offering an amazing suction power, even better than the corded vacuum cleaner I had in the past. We are a couple and live in a 1 bedroom flat so it is more than enough for clean our full house in one go and it still has battery for another one! Recently I cut my partner's hair on the bathroom so you can imagine how dirty and full of hair it was, and with this vacuum I was able to clean it in 2 minutes (instead of the brushing for 10 minutes I have always done). So I am extremely happy with this purchase and I highly recommend you buying this if looking for a powerful but light to carry cordless vacuum cleaner!
