This Beko American Fridge Freezer is fantastic! It is so much better than the old American style fridge freezer that it replaced. The old one was at least 15 years old and costing a fortune to run, so we thought we would invest in a new one... So glad we did! Firstly it looks amazing inside and out, the colour of the black steel is a subtle black colour, but it looks great, with a steel effect look to the doors. The doors are slightly higher than the rest of the fridge to account for the hinges, please bear this in mind if you like to store things on top of your fridge freezer as they will need to be moved towards the back. The display on the front of the freezer door is unassuming, it comes on to tell you the temperature inside the fridge and freezer when one of the doors is open, but shortly after the doors are closed it just displays a single line. If either of the doors are left open for too long then an audible alarm sounds to alert you that the temperature is being affected, this quickly switches off when the door is closed. Secondly, the inside of the fridge has very clean lines, with glass shelves that are easily removed, but do hook into place to stop movement. The shelves are easy to clean with no plastic surround for grime to get caught in. The inside of the fridge is a good size, the shelves hold a large capacity, easily enough for our large family of six - even more when the adult children visit! There is a light strip that runs along nearly the complete length top to bottom of the fridge and freezer to illuminate inside when you open the door. There are colour changing lights to keep the fresh fruit and vegetables fresher for longer - not sure if this really does work yet because I've not had the fridge freezer longer enough, but it really does look nice when you open the door. The fruit and vegetable drawers are on runners with wheels, they open and close so smoothly - no fighting to get the drawer back in when it is full. There is also a water container in the door, this is unassuming and does not take up much room, it is easy to fill with a spout on top of one of the door shelves. Thirdly, we come to the freezer... The freezer holds a surprising amount, I did not expect it to hold as much as it does. It has glass shelves like in the fridge with two drawers (on runners with wheels like the fridge) at the bottom. I personally thought it would be a disadvantage just having shelves and not all drawers, but actually if you are organised with the way you put your food in the freezer, the freezer holds a lot of stuff. The freezer section is not as wide as on my old freezer, but it still seems to hold just as much... I'm very impressed to be honest. Importantly there is a fast freeze button on the display that boosts the temperature of the freezer in preparation of filling the freezer or putting fresh meat in it, this automatically reverts back to the original temperature after a certain amount of time. Overall a fantastic American fridge freezer. It is very quiet in use, in fact I've hardly heard it at all. Amazing amount of space inside both the fridge and the freezer, more than enough for a large family. I would definitely highly recommend this Beko product to others.

We had the previous version of this fridge freezer and they have fixed all the things that didn’t really worked before. Having a light in the freezer makes a massive difference and the water holder in the door is super easy to fill and to use with any size glass. It looks great and is very quiet. I would highly recommend this fridge freezer.

Loving it. If it can go in my the fridge, it does! If I took out the shelves I could probably fit myself in it. Looks fantastic in my new kitchen. The non-plumbed in water dispenser is great. Still working on filling the freezer. Love the digital display on the door showing the temperatures and my husband can no longer the door opened without the alarm sounding. No more rows about it not being shut properly. We’ll have to find something else to argue about.

So far, loving it. Looks really smart, plenty of space and works well. One thing to watch out for on delivery, is the size. We had to remove both doors and disconnect a few wires to get it through our doors. It’s also very heavy, making it tricky to manoeuvre. Had to use a large and a small screwdriver bit and also a T25 (Torx) but to remove the doors. Fairly simple to do though and went back together easily enough. I’d recommend taking a picture of where the wires and screws were, before disconnecting anything also.

Great product. Well built and maintaining good freezer and fridge temperature. Ice maker working really well. First LG fridge I have owned and would highly recommend. Will be looking at LG for future appliance purchases.

The fridge freezer so far has been great! Smart, modern and spacious. It’s a lot larger than I anticipated but we make it work.
