Decent cooling, however the unit is large, heavy and cumbersome. It can be more useful if the exhaust pipe and waste water pipe are longer.

Effective at cooling our bedroom of around 20 sq.m, but it's huge, as is the exit hose that must be routed through a window. Given it's size, you would expect it to be effective. It's also fairly noisy, and the auto mode is not particularly effective, sometimes happily keeping the room 3 or 4 degrees above the target temperature, when it could easily cool the room (which it will if you change it to 'cool' mode). The app connection is good, but I've been unable to link it to Google Home despite logging in to AEG via Google Home.

Really loud and requires additional hardware to attach it to a fairly average flat window (top-pivoting). A little disappointing for the money.

This is a wonderful portable AC. It cooled our bedroom big style in the recent hot weather and enabled us to get a comfortable night's sleep. The side opening window attachment didn't fit our windows as our handles obstructed fitting it. So it's not a universal attachment. I've solve the problem with a sheet of perspex and some U shaped aluminium to make a track so my shield slides along the window. This enables us to either have the shut as normal or when using the AC we can vent the hot exhaust heat and stop flying wasps etc coming in. The controls and app are easy to use and easy to setup. All in all it's very good and does what it should. Would have been 5 stars apart from the universal side fitting shield.

A large unit with great coasters, sound volume (bit loud) to be expected and the cooling breeze is perfect on a hot day. Have not used the other functions and the exhaust tube at 1.5m is too short, but that seems common with other Air Cons.

We have this as a second unit, Pros - - can turn it on via wifi, comes with a window kit for normal open out windows side hinged - Very good amount of cooling very quickly. - Wheels are easy so it rolls on carpet well. Cons - - Very heavy, no way can you take it up and down stairs without some serious muscle. - The first has a remote control, this does not. - It was a real pain to connect to the wifi and took many attempts to get it right, could have been our broadband?? - The unit seems to have a built in fan rattle, maybe the filters, its ok but if you were sensitive it could drive you a bit nuts. - Large unit - make sure you measure well before purchasing Comes with a window kit I did not need, I would have preferred a cheaper unit.

very efficient aircon unit. a bit on the large side, but easily wheel-able from room to room. Not too noisy for sleeping etc.

Works really well, setting up the WiFi and app is easy, really efficient. Knocking a star off because the window adapter, while excellent quality, is only suitable for windows that hinge on the sides and is not suitable for awning type windows. This wasn't clear in the description. It would have been nice to have the option for an alternative window kit.
