Bought it for the bedroom, but it shows pictures, news headlines and recipes to name but a few and felt it was wasted in the bedroom. Now in the kitchen, I don't like cooking from recipes, but it's good to tell it some of your ingredients and ask for a recipe, also saved a few recipes I've liked the look of that have popped up. Considerably better than expected plus all of the original Alexa features.
