    Good value dishwasher

    5/5
I have had the dishwasher for just over a week. I initially went for this model as it got a great review from Which. It seems very good value for money compared to others out there. I particularly like the extra small drawer at the top for putting larger knives etc, it has been well thought through, along with the adjustable upper shelf to allow extra height room on the bottom rack. So far, so good!

15 place settings - great for large households - WITH SMALL PLATES

    1/5
We were very disappointed with our dishwasher. We had a second-hand Beko before that did us well. When I purchased this item, I chose it because of the following blurb on AO's site and I quote: "15 place settings - great for large households". Unfortunately, the machine has a tray at the top of the dishwasher for flat items like spatulas, etc. As a result of this shelf, the bottom section of the dishwasher has less height. This meant that our large plates did not fit in the dishwasher. They were too big and hit the rotating arm when placed on the (largest) bottom rack. We needed to replace our plates because of this and as such am NOT happy with the dishwasher that I was expecting to be able to fit our large plates, given that the previous Beko we had did. The machine itself is fine, wash cycles are a bit long for my liking but it works fine. Don't buy this if you have large plates. AO provided no information regarding the max plate size which would have been helpful in our case.

Five Stars for AO. Four stars for the appliance.

I have only used the machine for 1 week but have used it several times a day throughout that time frame. This machine has both a drawer/shelf and a basket for cutlery. On the one hand this is quite useful for utensils and odd shaped kitchen paraphernalia but I suspect this is also a factor which contributes to the lack of space in the lower basket area which means that dinner plates don’t fit if they are 255mm or above. This means that large and even standard sized plates don’t fit well. The installation process was fairly standard. Aside from that height restriction it feels fairly spacious and can accommodate a huge amount of stuff. The design and aesthetics are great with a clear display and well laid out control panel. Materials seem to be of a reasonable standard as does the build quality and finish. The machine is fairly quite and seems to clean well. Only the front feet are height adjustable. The instructions are quite clear and fairly extensive. Eco mode takes about 4 hours, standard “auto” mode takes 2h55m, it defaults to Eco but is easily changed. There is a fast mode too which I have yet to try. Service from AO was exemplary. The price was the best I could find after shopping around by a reasonable margin. There was good clear and courteous communication from AO throughout. AO provide options for recycling (for free in our case!) and installing. The delivery guys were efficient and no nonsense. Delivery schedule was laid out clearly and the driver called just before arrival. AO get FIVE STARS but the appliance due to the plate issue gets only four stars.

    Great dishwasher

    5/5
Great dishwasher. We can get our big plates in if we raise the top rack, as others reviews have said it is difficult to get stemmed wine glasses in with that raised, but not sure how we would fit anything else in with the kitchen worktop height! Hasn’t been a problem for us.

Great diswasher, quiet, well designed with impressive features!

    5/5
Really pleased with the Beko BDFN26520QW, its very simple to use, very quiet (compared to my previous 10 year old dishwasher). I love how when you select a programme, it tells you how long the programme will be on the display. Most dishwashers dont show this. One of the best features that I've found so far, is the additional cutlery tray at the top, this is great, which means you can remove the cutlery basket to fit more larger items in. Great design! So far so good!

It's a good machine ,but the instructions are very poor. I have still not been able to find out if certain items apply to my model. It washes well and is very quiet

A very decent product for larger families

    3/5
This is a very good product which serves our large family well, so far. It has plenty of space. I'm not convinced about the cutlery draw though: it seems unnecessary and heavily soiled items don't always come out very clean. In addition, it seems that many of the programmes take a lot longer than I expected. The auto function, for example, is usually around two hours long. Although there is a "fast" button, it is not applicable to all of the programmes. All that said, I would recommend this dishwasher.
