Very poor after service for faulty item

    1/5
Received faulty oven. As soon as top oven switched on tripped main fuse board in house. Installed by professional electrician as not paying £100 for ao to connect 3 cables. Same electrician has been back to double check and has confirmed definitely a faulty unit and not to use as could become live. Now have to wait over a week for an engineer from Hisense to visit to check the fault which will no doubt then lead to a longer wait for a replacement. Very poor handling of a faulty item. Now been without an oven for over 2 weeks. Very disappointed. Appreciate you can receive faulty goods occasionally but one would expect a quicker resolution. Offered a free 22 month warranty upgrade when I’d already purchased the 5 year! Got £30 refund so far. Wow……

Great looking product but I’m still getting it connected .......

Think the oven will be great but sadly not got it working as It came without brackets to fix under the work space. I’ve bought some, based on the advise from AO, they don’t fit. So I’m facing Christmas without a working oven. Merry Christmas AO & Hisense.

    Don’t bother

I regret buying this. The main oven is far too small, I’m having to use the top oven much more than with my old one. The oven trays which come with it are not great for roasting etc so I have thrown them away. Finally, the alarm is the most infuriating thing I have ever used; one minute it’s ticking by a second at the time, the next you are on 4 hours. Setting a timer for 45 mins is almost impossible.

    Poor Quality Oven

    2/5
I tested the ovens using an oven thermometer; I set the top oven to 200c - it reached 240c (melting the packaging of a lasagne) before dropping to 150c. The main, fan oven was set to 200c, but didn't go over 180c. The grill has only one setting - full heat (although you can chose to have all or only part of the grill at full heat). The manual suggests lower the grill pan to reduce the cooking temperature. This doesn't work - and is a waste of electricity. The manual also states the the grill must only be used with the oven door open, and also that the grill must only be used with the oven door closed - so it's not much use. The oven is cheap, but it's really not very good.

    Website needs to be clearer

    2/5
The cooker itself is good so far, only had it a few weeks but it’s quick to heat up and cooks evenly. If you buy it though, it literally comes with nothing to fit it, no rails and no feet. If you buy installation they don’t even bring anything to fit it, I had to buy £30 worth of bits from screwfix and after the first installer didn’t want to do it we now have a cooker. The website needs to be clearer on what comes with it and that if you pay for installation maybe send your installers with what they might need…

    Misleading information

    2/5
As a professional kitchen fitter, I am used to built under double ovens being supplied with a fixing set of brackets to allow installation. When I couldn't find any brackets supplied I checked the installation instructions, they stated that this oven will fit inside a standard 600mm base unit. I have bad news. It doesn't. I had to construct a base unit myself out of materials I had on site and then lower it so that the oven would fit under the worktop. I have no idea how the oven will perform long term as it isn't being installed in my house but the technical data on this website needs to more exact.

    Fine for the price

Looks good although the controls feel slightly cheap. Nice to have a grill/oven pan in both ovens. Fan seems a little noisy and not sure about the accuracy of the thermostats. Seems a decent buy for the money

    Good but internal height issue

    3/5
It looks and works fine but the internal height once you put a shelf in on the lowest level is very disappointing. I can't put my largest casserole dish in and another dish the lid has to be removed. The specs should list a maximum useable interna; height for pots
