Had the original series 9 and this is definitely a better, smoother shave. Happy with the battery case for trips away as well.

Upgraded from the series 5 (5195cc) to this, and it knocks spots of the 5. Amazingly comfortable and close on coarse stubble, much more powerful and feels effortless to use. Used with a pre electric shave lotion it is pretty much irritation free. The power case is handy when travelling or just for a quick charge at home. overall its pretty amazing.

Gives a smooth comfortable shave and does not cause any skin irritation that I have had with previous electric shavers.

Every review about the Braun Series 9 Pro gave it five stars and praised it. Having used it for a fortnight I can say that they were right. Easy and quick to charge, feels great in the hand and is a brilliant shaver, so quick and efficient

I am extremely pleased with this shaver. It was time to replace my old 9 series after 7/8 years. New model offers an even closer, smoother shave. The cleaning station is an excellent idea and now the carry case is a portable charger, so convenient. Not the cheapest shaver on the market, even with ao's excellent price, but certainly the best there is.
