Had the original series 9 and this is definitely a better, smoother shave. Happy with the battery case for trips away as well.

Very pleased with the new Braun shaver. I use it for both a face and head shave and I am very surprised at how close a shave it gives. Charge has remained on full even after 3 shaves of head and face. The hard rechargeable case is also very good. The shaver is really easy to clean so I have not yet used the cleaning station but if it's like the rest of the kit I've got nothing to worry about.

Absolutley brilliant...

I love this razor. I shave my face every day and my head a couple of times a week with it and it never lets me down. I bought this to replace my last Braun series 9 that I have had for 5 years which is still working but decided to upgrade to the 9 pro as the charging travel case it just what I needed. I couldn't recommend it enough, much better than a manual razor for everyday use, it shaves just as close (part from very hard to reach areas where my jaw meets my ear)) as it's much kinder to the skin and it cuts the hair with a flat (I find manual razors cut it at an angle) end so it is less sharp scratchy when it grows back.

I’ve used the shaver for a few days now and am having a great time with it so far as I get to know it better. I was previously using cartridge razors and decided to make the switch so I could have more comfortable shaves that will irritate my skin less and so I could have dry shaves instead of using a shaving gel or foam which takes up time and isn’t the most comfortable; this shaver ticks all of those boxes. I haven’t been cut once by the shaver and I feel very comfortable whilst using it too, it really is a solid piece of engineering and this inspires confidence. The cleaning solution smells great and it’s nice knowing that it’s always sterile. The charging case is very sturdy and makes the shaver so much more useful when travelling, for example not having to worry about power for many weeks - this was a real selling point for me over previous Series 9 models or similar items from other brands. Overall then, this product is perhaps intimidatingly expensive at first, however when you consider how long it’ll last (Braun quote up to seven years), the fact it’s kinder on your skin over a cartridge razor but still gets a very close shave, and of course the huge convenience it offers, this really is a great buy. I’m already very reluctant to ever go back to my old way of removing facial hair!
