Not as good as my old one

    3/5
This AEG cooker has fewer features than my old one which couldn't be repaired. It has ugly, hard to clean knobs instead of sleek touch screen controls and timer function is very inferior. They seem to have discontinued the completely smooth topped digital control model. So annoying and a step backwards . Otherwise it works fine.

    AEG Cooker

    3/5
Good fast heat cooker. The control knobs are along the top which means they get dirty very quickly from splashes off the hob. Cooker bottom door is difficult for me to open as I have arthritis.

    Disappointed

    3/5
Cheap-looking knobs, flimsy. The cooker doesn't seem to spread the heat equally despite the fan. Disappointing for the price paid. I was surprised to have to pay a delivery charge when I had to wait about ten days for a delivery.

    Quality Build

    4/5
Having mostly had the budget brands of cookers, but got fed-up with the constant need to replace elements, and not being able to access easily the inner glass of the doors we went for AEG. We like the controls that are at a good angle and clear to see. The hob rings seem to heat up very quickly, and the main oven fan cooks evenly. The steam bake is also a good feature. It remains to be seen however if the elements last longer.

    Pleased I bought this cooker

Hob heats quickly and has good temperature control, ovens are also good. I haven't yet used all the settings on the oven and in practice I am likely to have little use for the lower hob settings (1-5), and as others have said the control knobs aren't aesthetically pleasing, but I am certainly happy with this cooker.

Overall very good and the function is better than form

    4/5
Good quality, good looks (for a cooker!) and it seems very efficient too. Nice sized top and bottom ovens. Only gripes are the grill seems only to be on or off, no control but that could be me not reading the instructions. Also the control knobs are a bit plasticy and keeping the control bar area clean is going to be an ongoing struggle. It's good, what's perfect ?

Good cooker, dials could be improved.

    4/5
Good cooker, does everything I need it to and works well. Heats up quickly, oven racks good quality. Finish of dials and oven catch make it feel a bit cheap in comparison to my last cooker. Not sure how long the writing on the dials will actually last!
