Smart looking appliance. Fridge is very spacious and 5 drawers albeit narrow ones in the freezer... but excellent insulation as a consequence. The plastic on the top drawer of the freezer feels fragile but time will tell.

When this was delivered I was slightly intimidated by its size and the fact that I had to unpack it by myself but it was quite easy to cut away the cardboard and wiggle it off the poly base. When I tried to level it up I hit a snag - my garage floor has a dip where the front feet sit, and the right hand foot didn't have quite enough thread on the screw to level it properly. The left foot has a longer thread - maybe Beko should consider offering a spare left foot for use on the right? Fixed it with some sticky pads as I only needed a few mm. The Beko packaging was minimal on the inside of the box and on opening I found a small dent on the left hand side. Given the garage location and the fact that the mark is mostly out of sight I decided not to bother about it. The fridge is a good size. LED lighting is much better than the old fashioned bulb type. Egg holder floats about aimlessly but otherwise all good. The usable space in the freezer compartment is significantly smaller than my ancient old freezer. This is a combination of the slightly narrower size, extra insulation at he sides and rear, and a bottom drawer that is shorter to make room for the compressor at the back. Of course having the hard-to-find 40/60 fridge-freezer split is a bonus providing an extra freezer drawer. The trade-offs provide an efficient design that will cost less to run than the old, and it has all the space I need. Reservations - The ice tray drawer is slightly more fiddly to slide in than it should be, and the ice cube tray provided is ridiculously small and was immediately swapped out for two bigger ones - plenty of room for those in the drawer. And the top drawer, which is actually a hinged flap, needs a sharp tug to open and always feels like it is about to snap off. Time will tell! Externally the "silver" colour is more like metallic dark grey but it does look good and it runs quietly - no better or worse than expected.

Just what I needed, bigger frezzer, smaller fridge I love it finally filled it up and it holds so much more than I throught it would. Very happy

After being told by another company that an American fridge freezer wouldn't fit through my door I still wanted a bigger freezer so I decided to go taller rather that wider. Ao was the only place I found that did a 40/60 fridge freezer where the freezer was the bigger compartment. I'm delighted with my purchase, it looks stylish in my kitchen, I've loads more freezer room and the fridge compartment is a decent size also, very practical and definitely worth the money. Ao provided the removal of my old one at a reasonable cost and free delivery. A great service! Thanks

Needed fridge freezer to be a 55cm wide, so search becomes limited, this 40/60 split from Beko ticks all boxes! Great looking in the silver finish and the larger freezer works for our family of 4. If your looking for a 55cm don't look any further than this, measure your height though, it's very tall, which again we like.

Purchased this Beko 40/60 fridge freezer as I wanted more freezer space. It's a great size freezer and the fridge is by no means small still ideal for me and my two boys. Runs very quite and looks great in silver Excellent value highly recommended
