Sleek, smart, practical, family friendly that works well in a crisis!

    5/5
This is a sleek, smart, practical appliance with plenty of room in both the fridge and freezer sections. The see-though door shelves of the fridge are great for being able to quickly notice spills/milk dribbles etc, and the catches on the freezer drawers prevent them from falling out when opening. The single large drawer in the fridge I have found to be better and holds more produce than (what I thought I preferred) the two drawer options. The (reversible) doors of both fridge and freezer open and close smoothly with little effort whilst also having a firm seal. I bought this to replace my 20+ years old appliance, which was the same width but one freezer drawer and a fridge shelf smaller. My old appliance easily served a growing family of five so would have no doubt that this appliance would be suitable for a large family weekly shop. I was slightly dubious about the colour/finish as it's stated as silver, I thought it would be more like stainless steel look, but I think it's more silvery/grey and very appealing with a warm look rather than a cold steel look, and none of the hassle of forever having to wipe of finger marks at the slightest touch like you do with stainless. I chose this particular fridge/freezer because I wanted an appliance that would cope with cold temperatures, that would be long lasting as well as practical in daily use and look good int my kitchen, and the reviews for this brand are particularly good. I can honestly say I am very impressed, as was it thoroughly tested during the recent power cuts/blackout and minus temperatures, this appliance performed extremely well, it certainly did (and more) what the company claims it can do and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Dented fridge freezer delivered. We didn’t notice and delivery men who unpacked didn’t tell us.

    1/5
It was delivered with two small dents at base of fridge door. The original delivery men said it wasnt on their delivery note to change doors over. So AO did kindly say second delivery men( who were lovely) two days later would swap doors. Laid it down carefully to do the swap and we saw the dents. These must have been seen by the first delivery men who unpacked the item outside or caused by them. In my dimly lighted kitchen looking down, we didn’t see. It was two identical dents, about 3 inches up from bottom of door and about 8 inches apart… delivery trolley. Come on AO.. delivering damaged goods!!!

Looking for a decent priced frost free fridge freezer, you can’t beat Beko

    5/5
I gave my self a budget to buy a new fridge freezer but I also didn’t want to skimp on features and size, after a good look through many online companies I ended up where I began Back on AO (much better at getting all the details you need about the product before you buy, I really cannot fault this Fridge Freezer It has a very large capacity I would say it would easily suit a family of up to 4, the light inside is nice and bright and the shelves and drawers definitely do not look like it’s a cheap machine, lovely glass shelves in the fridge and loads of capacity, also loads of space in the door and a free egg tray should you want to use it, The freezer also has a nice large capacity with nice rugged drawers like you’d see on appliances twice the price and comes with an ice cube tray, Overall I’d say this is a lot of fridge for your money and it seems really good quality for the price. I’m definitely going to be staying with BEKO for all my future appliances as you get a bargain for your money. And almost forgot to mention it’s really quiet too Very happy Beko owner

    BEKO 60:40 fridge freezer

Nice colour, nice size, quiet, functional On the down side -it could be a few cm deeper - it's not the most efficient -plastics are cheap and thin with sharp edges -doesn't feel as good quality as others - Third door tray would be nice to optimise space instead of a useless small ice tray Might regret not spending £100 more , time will tell

    Faulty item.

    1/5
Faulty item. Having waiting 3 weeks with two orders cancelled by AO due to stock issues, the delivery guys, who were amazing, delivered the fridge freezer. However it is faulty and not reaching safe / cold enough temperatures so having stocked it up I've now wasted lots of money as food not safe to eat. Called Beko whose system was down so they couldn't register the fault yet and I was just told to turn it up to max and wipe the seal with a hot cloth! Done both, no difference. Stuck currently with a faulty fridge freezer .

AO service great but item a wee bit disappointing…

    3/5
Smart-looking but not quite as capacious as I’d hoped, even though I thought I’d measured carefully! The shelves seem a little flimsy as well, so I’ll need to take care they don’t break. Also need to be careful with the doors: I can’t have closed the freezer door properly as on Day 2, I came home to find everything half-defrosted…I’m used to doors that clunk firmly and these need a bit more pressure. So, overall, I’m a wee bit disappointed. Hopefully I’ll get used to it and work around the bits I’m not sure about. I guess you get what you pay for! A shame, as I’m usually really pleased with Beko products and have bought many over the years. Can’t fault AO.com though. Their installation and removal service was superb!!

    could be better

easy to unpack. its much noisier than i expected, even louder than my 20 year old one that wasn't working properly and struggling to keep cool. disappointed with the new ratings, i feel that should have been mentioned in the description when purchasing, it was A+ and under the new calculations an F! i would have looked for a different one had i known this before purchase. its working well, maybe a bit too well, i have it set to minimum and it feels almost freezing in the fridge and ice cream that would normally be easy to scoop is rock solid in the freezer. about to buy thermometers for each to see what the temps are. it looks nice and fits in with decor well, much prefer the grey than a white one. (it is grey, not silver, but im sure thats pretty obvious anyway) the shelves in the door could better, there are three, bottom one is ok for bottles, top two are very shallow, would easily fit in another one to make better use of the space
